Role Overview:
Homebound is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our Tampa / St. Petersburg team and lead field operations for our single-family home projects. As a Superintendent, you'll be responsible for managing the entire construction process-from mobilization to delivery-with an uncompromising focus on safety and quality. Delivering homes on schedule and on budget is important, but secondary to building exceptional homes, safely.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of on-site construction for your assigned homes.
* Manage the simultaneous construction of up to 15 single-family homes in various stages.
Monitor workmanship and adherence to scopes of work through checklists and field inspections.
* Execute daily operations using Homebound's proprietary project management software.
* Approve trade partner work and associated invoices based on quality and completeness.
* Lead on-site implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with local/national codes and permitting authority requirements.
* Maintain both digital and physical project documentation.
Proactively initiate and communicate changes to scope, plans, and specifications.
* Follow established operational procedures for communication, change orders, and financial tracking.
* Keep daily logs of site activity and coordinate inspections to maintain schedule momentum.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to support buyouts and provide feedback on budgeting and trade performance.
* Participate in client walks and obtain occupancy permits upon completion.
* Perform other construction-related duties as needed.
What You'll Bring:
* 4+ years of experience in the construction industry (e.g., custom, infill, production), specifically with direct field experience in home building.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting structural plans and blueprints independently.
* Understanding of local building codes, permits, and the home construction process.
* Experience working with project managers and trade partners to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
* Strong working knowledge of Excel for managing project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking.
* A valid driver's license.
* Construction Certification (OSHA, LEAD, etc.) preferred

Role Overview:
The Homebound Construction Operations Team is seeking a Construction Project Manager to manage all phases of single-family home construction for our new home projects in Los Angeles, CA. This is an opportunity to help drive our Los Angeles wildfire rebuild efforts and provide essential housing solutions to support the community's recovery from the Altadena and Palisades fires earlier this year.
Homebound Project Managers are responsible for the effective coordination of groups of single-family building projects. Project Managers coordinate across all functional teams at Homebound while utilizing our proprietary project management software to manage their projects.
Homebound has a proven track record of successfully helping to rebuild communities after natural disasters, having supported recovery efforts in six disaster affected markets to date including: Fort Myers, FL, Santa Rosa, CA, and the Bahamas. We hope to bring that experience to Los Angeles to help rebuild lives and homes in the wake of these devastating wildfires.
Candidates must be based in the greater Los Angeles, CA to be considered for this role. You will spend your days on the job site in Altadena from the Eaton Fire.
What You'll Do:
* Manage, coordinate, and direct all aspects of the residential new construction projects you are responsible for.
* Manage the concurrent construction operations of up to 45 single-family homes.
* Be able to manage schedules for multiple homes in different stages of construction.
* Report to the Director of Construction Operations on the overall health of your projects.
* Advise the team on strategies to keep your projects on plan or get them back on plan if they are delayed or over budget.
* Utilize Homebound's proprietary project management software to execute all facets of your daily coordination activities.
* Coordinate with the Procurement Team to ensure your projects are bought-out with resources that allow you to meet schedule and budget goals.
* Inspect your projects each week in accordance with Homebound's safety program.
* Work with our Superintendents to ensure scopes of work are accurate and construction quality is delivered on every home.
* Maintain electronic project records including meeting notes and communications.
* Initiate and process the required changes in the scope of work, plans, and specifications for the homes you manage.
* Follow detailed operational processes around communication, change management, and project financial management.
* Approve all trade partner's invoices with regard to work completeness and quality.
* Review daily activity logs of all activities on the job sites you manage.
* Advise, as needed, on plans and specifications.
* Report to the Director of Construction Operations on all aspects of assigned project performance, including schedules, budgets, and the safety conditions of your projects.
* Perform all other duties or assigned as required.
* Participate in client walks with the Project Team as required.
What You'll Bring:
* 6+ years of experience in residential home construction as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager.
* Deep understanding of the LA county permitting, inspections and certificate of occupancy process.
* You are proficient in MS Excel, Google Software Suite applications, and have experience in MS Project or equivalent schedule management software.
* Valid driver's license.

Position Summary

What you will be doing
Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates monthly schedule from project feedback.
Reviews and understands the project specifications to support job set up activities at all assigned locations. Works with work crews, field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site.
Coordinates with internal and external teams to ensure that project work is equipped with appropriate equipment and material quantities to complete production within assigned budget and schedule.
Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.
Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plan and material requirements, safety and schedule activities. Documents daily activities and meeting notes using Company approved document methods.
Supports and promotes strict adherence to safety and process controls regarding operating equipment, worksite safety and documentation requirements.
Supervises sub-contractor production and workforce regarding assigned project work. Recommends work schedule or work method adjustments regarding sub-contractor activities, as needed.
What we are looking for
15+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
9+ years Superintendent experience required.
Bachelor's Degree a plus.
Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required.
Strong leadership capability with internal drive to mentor and grow internal talent.
Proven ability to handle complex construction projects using strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
Proven ability to manage difficult schedules and project demands while maintaining strict adherence to project safety program.
Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs.
Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specific plans and specifications.

As a Technical Superintendent in the Houston region, you will be responsible for rolling out our systems in the metro and paving the way imagining how the UAV world meets the built environment - not just for Zipline but for our customers and the industry as a whole. You will manage the entire build process from initial site design handover & constructibility, assist the PM team with scoping & buyout, construction, commissioning, and closeout. What You'll Do

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Role Overview
Homebound is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our Dallas team and lead field operations for our single-family home projects. As a Superintendent, you'll be responsible for managing the entire construction process - from mobilization to delivery - with an uncompromising focus on safety and quality. Delivering homes on schedule and on budget is important, but secondary to building exceptional homes, safely.
