We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in HVAC controls, system integration, and energy management, with hands-on experience troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining BAS systems. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal performance of our customers' building systems through responsive service, reliable maintenance, and advanced technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on BAS and HVAC control systems.
Modify, upgrade, and commission control programs in Distech and Tridium Niagara environments.
Conduct system performance analysis and identify opportunities for optimization and energy savings.
Provide technical support to clients and assist in resolving complex control and network communication issues.
Calibrate and configure controllers, sensors, and field devices for optimal operation.
Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless transition from installation to service.
Maintain detailed service logs, documentation, and system backups.
Support remote monitoring, diagnostics, and system analytics platforms.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
Promote safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction in every aspect of the job.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or a related field.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks communication protocols.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
Knowledge of IP-based networks, control system architecture, and field integration.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service orientation.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Niagara N4 Certification or Distech Controls Certification.
Experience with lighting control systems, energy dashboards, or IoT integrations.
Basic programming or scripting ability (e.g., Restful APIs, GFX, BQL, PX, or GCL,).
OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training.

PEARCE RENEWABLES is looking for Renewables Control Center Technicians for our Remote Operations Center (ROC). The Renewables Control Center Technician monitors and controls commercial and scale utility-scale wind, solar, and Battery Energy Storage facilities. This position is responsible for operating, dispatching, and monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis to ensure that the plant meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner.
Core Responsibilities
Identify and ticket plant communication, equipment outages, and under-production issues using SCADA, DAS, and a computerized maintenance management system.
Function as the primary point of contact with Balancing Authorities, Transmission Operators, Distribution Operators, and Scheduling Entities while utilizing three-part communication.
Maintain logs of solar plant operations including notification of events and communications in accordance with Remote Operations Center (ROC) procedures.
Schedule planned and unplanned outages with Scheduling Entities.
Initiate responses to plant changes, site trips, feeder circuit trips, loss of communications, etc.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience
Experience working as a control room operator for renewable generation.
Power generation experience, wind or solar background preferred.
Ability to work with different management styles and in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment under tight deadlines and demanding customers (internal and external).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to solve problems of both a technical and operational nature.
Knowledge of commercial and utility-scale solar electrical generating facility design, operations, and typical maintenance issues.

We are currently looking for an Automation Technologist I/II/III for our Houston, TX office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This Engineering position provides advanced Automation support to Engineering and Construction project teams. Responsibilities will include all phases of electrical and control systems project design, testing, and commissioning including reviewing P&IDs, electrical one lines, conduit and cable schedules, creating and reviewing facility instrumentation technical specifications and procurement data sheets, overseeing field installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment required for facility operation. This position will also be responsible for automation related project estimates, scope of works, procurement, factory acceptance testing, construction scheduling, inspecting installation, and commissioning and startup duties. Other tasks may include supporting Automation Services, SCADA, IT, Commissioning, and Field Operations personnel which may include problem solving, technical support, troubleshooting, and modification and optimization of existing station/unit control systems and electrical/automation equipment. The role requires frequent short term travel (1-3 days) with infrequent long term travel (2-4 weeks with travel home on weekends provided).
