Assist in the creation and delivery of updated safety materials, tailgate talks, and toolbox meetings. + Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.     Eaton's Electrical Sector is seeking a EHS & Facilities Manager to support our PDCA manufacturing facility located in Avery Creek, NC. (Power Distribution Controls & Assemblies) In this role, the EHS & Facilities Manager will serve as a staff leader responsible for the design, deployment, and execution of the site's environmental, health, and safety strategy/culture. You will lead a team spanning three shifts with low/med risk site based. You will establish and direct development and achievement of EHS objectives and targets for the site (including leading/lagging metrics for performance and behavior). Additionally, this role will maintain site certifications, ensure accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics and closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings, manage intermediate communication with public/government authorities. You will direct actions during crises, facilitates risk assessment at site based on advance knowledge of regulatory requirements, and work with xthe leadership team and MESH element champions to complete annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, local regulations. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. What you'll do: * Manage the Environmental, Health and Safety program for the Avery Creek facility. * Manage the loss control program and direct the activities of contracted security and healthcare personnel. * Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all site facility infrastructure both for manufacturing and office operations. * Oversees and coordinates all facilities work throughout the building including the management of capital and expense spend. * Responsible for managing and executing contractor management program for third party contractors performing work on site. * Partner with Human Resources and onsite healthcare personnel for proper case management and employee support. * Maintain the facility in compliance with all regulatory needs (EPA, OSHA, etc.). * Administer the Safety and Environmental program according to guidelines set forth by Corporate. * Policy and management objectives including administration of Eaton's MESH program. * Ensure a safe and healthful workplace for employees. * Maintain a strong and viable Safety Council program. * Provide mandatory and/or other necessary Safety and Environmental training to employees. * Prepare and submit Environmental Permits and reports and comply with other OSHA and EPA recordkeeping and reporting requirements. * Other duties, projects, as assigned.
