The purpose of the Tractor Trailer Driver position is to transport, deliver and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment and to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe and timely manner. An individual in this position will operate both commercial and non-commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. He/she performs at a high standard of quality level within the branch and outside of the branch. He/she has mastered the operating standards of the facility, the region and corporation.

+ Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites, facilities and other Herc Rentals related facilities
+ Provide training assistance for customers by answering general questions regarding the safe operations of vehicles, tools, or machinery when asked by customer
+ Report to the branch manager or central dispatcher of any damage to Herc Rentals property that is uncovered by the driver during the process of picking up the equipment from the customer
+ Report any and all accidents involving the driver or equipment to Branch Manager or Central Dispatch
+ Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions, or any other problems relating to timely pickups or delivery of equipment
+ Maintain flexibility in daily routine in order to respond to Management's responses to the customer demands
+ Ensure proper paperwork & logs are maintained accurately on a daily basis
**Requirements**
+ H.S. Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience within the last three years
+ Commercial Driver's License, Class A, with tanker endorsement

Position Summary
The Clamp TruckDriver is responsible for safely and efficiently handling, transporting, and staging paper rolls and finished goods to support corrugator and converting operations. This role requires expert operation of a clamp truck preferably within a corrugated manufacturing environment, ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to maintain continuous production flow. Work Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, routinely consisting of weekends and holidays; varying work schedules (ex. one week of a.m. shift, followed by one week of pm shift, etc.), to accommodate changing business needs and coverage of sick calls/employee leaves.
Environment: Indoor and outdoor exposure to various temperatures, dust, noise, and moving machinery.
Primary Work Stations: Primarily work within the main areas of responsibility, including warehouse, office, and common areas.
Dress Code: Durable, comfortable clothing, such as work pants and a work shirt. A strong focus on maintaining a safe environment for employees and self. Adherence to health and safety guidelines is paramount, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Exposure: May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and cleaning chemicals.
Noise Level: Usually low to moderate, with occasional loud periods from equipment and tools.
Interaction: Constant interaction with team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle, preferably in a similar role.
Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
