    Hours: full-time (37.5 hours per week) Compensation dependent on experience The MST Clinician provides Multi-systemic therapy (MST) in home and community settings for youth ages 11-17 who have received referral for the treatment of behavioral or emotional problems by the juvenile justice, behavioral health, school, or child welfare systems. Must be available for periodic on-call 24/7 to provide safety planning and crisis intervention. Required Education and Experience Master's Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr Master's Program), which is offered by a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency. Position Summary The QMHP-T Clinician provides a variety of essential services for the adult 23-hour observation, residential stabilization unit, and detox program. Direct services are provided to clients in both an individual and group format and include, crisis intervention, care coordination, skills restoration and education, symptom and behavior management. QMHP-T clinicians also provide collaborative communication with treatment team members, treatment planning and discharge planning. These services are provided in order to help clients in a state of psychiatric crisis achieve stability in order to successfully transition back into the community and avoid inpatient hospitalization. Required Education and Experience Conferred human services degree as defined by the VA Board of Counseling, as well as current active registration as QMHP-T in Virginia. Teams are being put in place early to ensure adequate training and team-building opportunities. Individuals hired as QMHP-T will be provided expert training and clinical supervision to be promoted to a full Virginia Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Position Summary The QMHP-T Clinician provides a variety of essential services for the adult 23-hour observation, residential stabilization unit, and detox program. Direct services are provided to clients in both an individual and group format and include, crisis intervention, care coordination, skills restoration and education, symptom and behavior management. QMHP-T clinicians also provide collaborative communication with treatment team members, treatment planning and discharge planning. These services are provided in order to help clients in a state of psychiatric crisis achieve stability in order to successfully transition back into the community and avoid inpatient hospitalization. Required Education and Experience Conferred human services degree as defined by the VA Board of Counseling, as well as current active registration as QMHP-T in Virginia. No Minimum Experience Required Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of community mental health and public health in order to provide advocacy and enhance an individual treatment and access the community resources. Knowledge of the principles, techniques, trends, and literature related to mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of and adherence to existing professional ethical standards.
