Pay Range: $32.58 - $48.87 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Provides direct support to surgeon and clinical team throughout perioperative phase of care. Positions and preps patients prior to surgery, ensures clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges, controls bleeding, closes surgery sites and properly dresses wounds. Assists in maintaining an effective operating theater and optimizes procedural care. Position Specifics: Opening January 2026: Brand new, state of the art Operating Rooms! * Department: Surgery * Core Function: Surgical Tech * Schedule: Full-Time Days (40 hours per week). On call/weekend rotation, currently on a 5-day rotation (so every 5th day you would be on call at the time the shift ends or if it's a weekend day it would be for 24hrs). Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates degree in surgical technology is preferred. Graduate or successful completion of accredited Surgical Technology or Surgical First Assist program or has successfully completed military training in surgical technology is required. Experience Qualifications 3 years of experience in surgical services is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) issued by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required. Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) issued by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) issued by the National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA), OR Surgical Assistant, Certified (SA-C) issued by American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA) is required (for hires/transfers after March 2025). Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Emergency Department Technician II functions as a member of the emergency department patient care team, under supervision of the registered nurse. The Emergency Department Technician II, performs patient care procedures and assists with the collection of basic health information. The Emergency Department Technician II provides for the care, comfort, and safety of patients, including, but not limited to, taking vital signs, initiation and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous access, specimen collection, performing ECG's, post-mold application, crutch-walk teaching, spinal immobilization, basic wound care, collecting patient history and assessment information. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts and communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care.
