Position Summary:
The Managing Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities of Clinical Services for both Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. This includes supervision of staff and interns, serving as the liaison to other House of Ruth Maryland (HRM) departments, and maintaining the integrity of the program in the community. The Managing Therapist is also responsible for providing direct therapeutic services to victims and survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV). The Managing Therapist facilitates and supports a team approach among staff to address the trauma, mental health and other clinical issues clients may present.
In collaboration with the Associate Director of Clinical Services, the Managing Therapist ensures that the goals, objectives, and work effort of the staff is consistent with the mission of HRM and advances the Agency and program's strategic goals and objectives. This position is hybrid remote/in person and requires a minimum of three days per week in person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements site-specific goals, objectives, staffing plans and staff development strategies.
Provides reflective supervision to clinicians working with adults, children and families.
Provides administrative supervision to clinicians regarding performance expectations, performance evaluation, site/program priorities, quality assurance, and performance improvement interventions.
Makes recommendations for and participates in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
Provides comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments, individual trauma-based therapy and support groups for victims of intimate partner violence.
Participates in Clinical Services staff meetings, clinical group supervision and peer clinical supervision with other Clinical Managers.
Assures service is client-focused, culturally sensitive, strengths based and built on a foundation of sound clinical theory and trauma-informed best practices.
Identifies training opportunities as well and develops and implements annual staff training and development plans.
Ensures Clinical staff meet professional standards of practice and State licensing requirements.
Uses Electronic records system and other methods to monitor and report on program quality, data integrity and other key performance indicators.
Trains, supervises, and provides support to clinical interns.
Complies with terms of contracts and grants, including grant project management and reporting.
Represents HRM with area service providers, on local coalitions, committees and boards, and provides professional presentations for educational and marketing purposes.
Establishes service linkage relationships to increase the number of clients served, and to provide comprehensive services to clients.
Makes recommendations to Associate Director of Clinical Services for service adaptation based on best practices established by research in the field.
Holds team meetings regularly to provide feedback and direction and meets weekly with direct reports for one-on-one supervision.
Attends meetings and collaborates with other collocated programs.
Represents the program with other HRM departments.
Starting Salary: $66,000 - $68,000
Experience, Education, Certifications/Licenses
LCSW-C or LCPC
At least 2-4 years related experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledgeable about therapeutic interventions with victims of trauma, their children, and family systems.
Demonstrates competence with computer systems including MS Word, Outlook and telehealth software.
Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and collaboratively with peers and community partners.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, enabling a team to meet goals consistently.

Job Summary
Juvenile Court Services is seeking a licensed professional social worker to serve as a Juvenile Court Services Specialist. The Specialist will work under the direction of the Juvenile Court Services Coordinator.
Essential Functions
* The specialist will interview, and link children, adolescents, and families involved in the child welfare and delinquency system to appropriate community-based resources and provide case coordination services.
* Conduct assessments and develop service plans.
* Accompany families to juvenile court and testify when necessary.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Murray Developmental Center located in Centralia, Illinois. The incumbent will, for a period of time from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receive instruction and training in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our Clinical Counseling Program combines evidence based knowledge with a welcoming and collaborative environment that supports both staff and the survivors we serve. Facilitates support and psychoeducational groups for youth and adults.
Collaborates with other HRM staff and programs via staff meetings, case review, and reflective supervision groups.
Participates in regularly scheduled one on one supervision with supervisor.
Responsible for meeting individual, program and agency goals/targets including but not limited to timely, ethical and trauma informed service provision and documentation.

Perkins Hospital Center, Jessup, MD Main Purpose of Job This part-time contractual position is the full performance level of work, at the licensed Master's Degree level, counseling clients with substance use disorders by using intervention, treatment and rehabilitation. This position does not supervise other Alcohol and Drug Counselors. This position receives general supervision from an Alcohol and Drug Professional Counselor Supervisor or a program administrator. This position may be required to work evenings and weekends. The work is performed in State addictions programs located in State institutions, facilities and offices including inpatient and outpatient facilities, halfway house facilities and community-based programs. Positions in this classification are evaluated using the classification job evaluation methodology. The use of this method involves comparing the assigned duties and responsibilities of a position to the job criteria found in the Nature of Work and Examples of Work sections of the class specification.
This position is differentiated from the Alcohol and Drug Professional Counselor Provisional on the basis of license status and supervisory control exercised by the supervisor over these employees. The Alcohol and Drug Professional Counselor Provisional is non-licensed and learns to perform duties under close supervision. BENEFITS
Contractual employees who work for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program, have a current employment contract and work 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits.
Leave may be granted to a contractual employee at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
