Hoyleton Youth and Family Services has a variety of Internship opportunities that will allow students to gain practical work experience in social human services. Currently, we are offering a Bachelor's level clinical internship to gain experience in community counseling. This position will include opportunities to shadow Hoyleton's Mobile Crisis Response team and in working in the community-based services through our school partnerships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* It is the student's responsibility to ensure that all requirements for their academic programs are met
* Serves as a clinical intern observing assessment, individual/ group/ family therapy services and assists Spanish speaking clients in the development of functional skills
* Observes diagnostic assessments and develops the Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan with the client, parent/guardian, and/or case workers. Follows all regulations when completing initial, reviews and/or updates for all required paperwork
* Participates in clinical case staffing as needed. Schedules clinical case staffing to ensure consistent communication with other professional staff involved with the client.
* Participate in weekly supervision with direct supervisor to explore areas of strength and growth.
* Completes all required clinical documentation in a timely manner based on Medicaid Rule 132 and Managed Care Organization requirements.
* Participates in Utilization Reviews of clinical files.
* Completes other duties as reasonably assigned.

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services offers internship opportunities for students pursuing master's degrees in, counseling, family therapy or social work (clinical only). These internships provide hands-on experience in social and human services, including counseling, mental health, and nonprofit management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides individual, group and family therapy as needed in an office or out of office setting utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic approaches. Out of office settings may include but are not limited to the following: schools, churches and community settings.
* Provides information and linkage to community resources according to client/ family need.
* Completes diagnostic assessment and develops the Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan with the client, parent/guardian, and/or case workers. Follows all regulations when completing initial reviews and/or updates for all required paperwork.

The Opportunity
At Chicago CRED, we take a multifaceted approach to reducing gun violence and creating lasting change. The Clinical team contributes to this mission by providing one-on-one counseling, trauma and stress-management groups, and enrichment workshops to help participants recover and grow.
As the Clinical intern, you'll support the team by providing ongoing participant support, ensuring high-quality data and documentation, and contributing to program performance and improvement. This role offers hands-on experience in trauma-informed care, behavioral health support, and program evaluation within a community-based setting.Role and Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive intake assessments with Chicago CRED candidates to evaluate their service needs.
Collaborate with outreach specialists to upload relevant participant data to Salesforce.
Provide light-touch support and referrals to program managers, site managers, life coaches, clinicians, and outreach specialists.
Conduct monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions with participants based on individual needs and requests.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

Compensation

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend New Staff Orientation prior to starting the internship.
Provides direct service to members, as indicated by the service plan, while supervised by an appropriate, designated staff person. Consistent with the intern's level of experience and training, this potentially includes but is not limited to individual counseling/therapy, case management, teaching, assessment, assertive community treatment, job support, managing medications, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and group counseling/therapy. Job Description
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to stabilize consumers in psychiatric crisis. Consumers include children, adolescents, adults, and their families. The crisis worker will provide crisis intervention services, including information gathering, assessment, brief skill-based interventions, and safety planning, with the goal of immediate symptom reduction, stabilization, and restoration to a person-centered baseline level of functioning. The crisis worker will assist consumers in identifying and engaging in recovery- and resiliency-oriented goal development and achievement in a culturally aware and appropriate manner. In accordance with consumers goals and preferences, service(s) may include one or all of the following: skill-building, identification and/or use of natural supports, use of community resources, referrals to internal or external providers of care, and facilitation of emergency services.
Location and Work Conditions:
Although the crisis worker will be based out of C4s North Ave office (2542 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60647), at least 80% of the services provided will be in Chicago's north and west neighborhoods as well as northern suburban communities. As appropriate, for the duration of the pandemic, services may be offered remotely with utilization of HIPAA compliant telehealth related software. Work may be stressful due to consumers presentations, acuity of symptoms, interaction with state and local community systems, periods of high call volume, and/or tight deadlines. The crisis worker must be willing to work certain weekends, some night or overnight shifts, and occasional holidays.
The preferred schedule(s) for this position would be Tuesday-Friday 9:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. or Monday-Thursday 12:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m.

HRDI is seeking a
Psychiatric Assessment Clinical Supervisor
who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Psychiatric Assessment and DMH Enhanced Grant funded program. This includes creating and managing an effective case assignment process and removing barriers to timely admission for appropriate clients. The Psychiatric Assessment Clinical Supervisor will also supervise a team of clinical staff who will be responsible for the facilitation of assessments for crisis clients and providing enhanced case management services to select clients. This person will be responsible for supervising Psychiatric Assessment Specialists, both LPHA and QMHP staff members.
Job duties include:
Receive calls requesting a TPRS Eligibility and Disposition Assessment and document the response time.
Ensure that priority responses are provided to the Emergency Departments of community hospitals in Region 1 South;
Document all evaluations completed and maintain these in a clinical record for the individual.
Follow up with dispositions and referrals made to determine the number of individuals successfully linked to the recommended service.
Along with the billing department, ensures that each individual determined to be eligible for TPRS is appropriately registered with the designated identifier in the DHS/DMH consumer registration/enrollment information system.
Ensures that on a monthly basis a summary of the services and supports provided to each individual determined to be eligible for TPRS, including identification of those individuals served that were direct deflections from community hospital emergency departments and individuals discharged from other levels of care and specification of which level of care (such as CHIPS, state hospitals, crisis residential, substance abuse residential) are submitted to the DHS/DMH Regional Office.
Maintain advanced knowledge of Rule 132, Attachment B and all regulatory standards as it relates to programs within the Division of Mental Health;
Demonstrates cultural competence and behaviors consistent with the core values, vision and mission of HRDI;
Responsible for the recruitment, screening, training and supervision of graduate interns within the behavioral health field;
Assist with coordination of professional development and professional learning.

Position Purpose:
The Mental Health Clinician provides rehabilitation services and support to children and families. Position Purpose:
The Mental Health Clinician provides rehabilitation services and support to children and families. The MH Clinician helps to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes while increasing community functioning. Services provided shall include stabilization, linkage services, and consultations with the client's family. Duties include answering crisis calls and responding to mental health crises in Champaign, Ford, Iroquois, and Vermilion counties. Driving to the crisis location within 90 minutes of receiving the crisis call is required.
In addition to treatment services, responsibilities of the position include assertive case management, maintaining an overall perspective on client functioning, environmental factors, resource needs and advocacy on behalf of clients. The aim of services is to work with the clients (and families/others) toward supporting their ability to assume responsibility and manage their emotions and behavior and to thereby function in the least restrictive setting possible.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, or Family Therapy or related field, Master's preferred.
Able to conduct individual, group and family counseling sessions
Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients
Must qualify as a MHP or higher
Second level license for Therapist title
Minimum two years' experience in mental health
Demonstrated education, training or experience in the mental health services
Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed

About the Clinician Position
Provides a wide range of therapeutic services to individuals including assessments, counseling and crisis intervention. The employee s primary duty is work that requires advanced knowledge in the field of psychology or social work.
Essential Functions:
Provides individual and group therapy according to individual needs;
Completes all necessary clinical paperwork, including but not limited to mental health and risk assessments, service plans, comprehensive progress reports, significant incident reports, safety plans and discharge summaries, while adhering to established timelines and all licensing and accreditation standards;
Participates in completing outcome measurements;

Provides crisis intervention as needed, within the framework of the ARC model;
Assesses the placement and service needs, and serves as an advocate for the client to assure appropriateness of placement and residential and post-release services;
Participates in utilization review, clinical supervision and staff capacity-building as requested;
Coordinates with case managers, residential staff and educational/recreational team for a holistic approach to each child;
Actively seeks supervision and utilizes supervisory input;
Attends a minimum of 40 hours advanced training/workshops on an annual basis;

The Crisis Co Responder Team is recovery and resiliency oriented, intensive, community based rehabilitation and outreach. Interventions are provided in natural settings, and are delivered face to face, by telephone, or by video conference with individual recipients and their family/significant others to the primary well- being and benefit of the recipient. Job Description
HRDI is seeking Contract Child & Adolescent Therapist to perform direct care services to children and adolescents. This is a full-time position responsible for providing oversight and supervision during periods of psychiatric assessment and medication training and monitoring.
In addition, the Contract Child & Adolescent Therapist will:
Provide billable Medicaid services to all assigned clients/residents at a minimum of 26 direct service hours per week.
Complete all necessary service planning as required by rule 132
Identify and address gaps in the service provision
Assure the participation of team members, the individual, the guardian, the family and necessary professionals.
Provide psycho-educational services to family members of assigned clientele
Assure that the services specified in the services paln are being provided
Facilitate individual linkages and transfers
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum:
Master Degree in Social Work/Psychology or an appropriate human service field
Minimum of two years exp in the human service field
Proficient in MS Office programs
Ability to problem solve and work effectively with people
Knowledge of Community Mental Health , Rule 132, and the Department of Mental Health
Sensitivity to multi-cultural differences
Ability to relate well to people of all socioeconomic groups
