The primary functions of this position are to ensure high quality ready-mix product and provide industry related technical assessments.

* Perform sample testing and monitoring of our concrete production and procedures for the region.
* Observe job site testing and perform comparative testing with independent testing agencies.
* Communicate with customers, testing laboratories, and dispatch and plant supervisors regarding mix utilization and admixture dosage rates.
* Perform plant inspections of our facilities and recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with project specifications, VDOT, Federal specifications and Titan America's QA guidelines.
* Perform visual inspection assessments of jobsite conditions, solutions, and recommendations to correct problems if they occur.
* Monitor test report data and plant records to help determine specification compliance in accordance with project, Federal and State specifications.
* Perform all pertinent ASTM, ACI and FDOT testing procedures and evaluations.
* Supports Sales and Production departments in resolving quality-based customer queries and complaints.
* Participates in the analysis of customer claims and supports the investigation of the causes linked to process or production conditions.
Qualifications
* FDOT Plant, ACI Field Testing, Aggregate, and Lab Technician Certifications preferred or able to obtain within the first six months of hire.
* Minimum one-year experience in Ready Mix Concrete, quality control, or related industry.
* H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Must be computer literate in Windows, Excel, Adobe, and MS Office. Knowledge of other software programs and computer functionality a plus.
* Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
* Excellent data entry skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.

Conduct reviews of cleaning logs, compounding records, and other controlled records created throughout the facility.
Assist in root cause investigations and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in the execution of training on quality topics, functioning as the on-site SME for quality.
Provide Pharmacy Compliance with requests arising from pharmacy inspections.
Ensure the highest quality and cleanliness of the facility and equipment, leading our environmental monitoring program.
Conduct Quality Assurance checks on relevant product batches according to predefined guidelines, reviewing final test results to perform lot release.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Bachelor's degree in any science discipline, preferred.
Current pharmacy technician license in Florida or the ability to obtain pharmacy technician licensure, preferred.
At least 3 years experience working in a manufacturing production environment or a high volume compounding pharmacy required.
Experience working in a cGMP or 503B facility where PPE, cleanliness, and sterile sampling techniques are part of daily routine, required.

We are seeking a Concrete Quality Control Technician in Daytona, Florida. This salaried non-exempt position reports directly to the Quality Manager. The primary functions of this position are to ensure high quality ready-mix product and provide industry related technical assessments.
Responsibilities

* Perform sample testing and monitoring of our concrete production and procedures for the region.
* Observe job site testing and perform comparative testing with independent testing agencies.
* Communicate with customers, testing laboratories, and dispatch and plant supervisors regarding mix utilization and admixture dosage rates.
* Perform plant inspections of our facilities and recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with project specifications, VDOT, Federal specifications and Titan America's QA guidelines.
* Perform visual inspection assessments of jobsite conditions, solutions, and recommendations to correct problems if they occur.
* Monitor test report data and plant records to help determine specification compliance in accordance with project, Federal and State specifications.
* Perform all pertinent ASTM, ACI and FDOT testing procedures and evaluations.
* Supports Sales and Production departments in resolving quality-based customer queries and complaints.
* Participates in the analysis of customer claims and supports the investigation of the causes linked to process or production conditions.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
* FDOT Plant, ACI Field Testing, Aggregate, and Lab Technician Certifications preferred or able to obtain within the first six months of hire.
* Minimum one-year experience in Ready Mix Concrete, quality control, or related industry.
* H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Must be computer literate in Windows, Excel, Adobe, and MS Office. Knowledge of other software programs and computer functionality a plus.
* Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

What You'll Do:
Ensure Quality Control. Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. Adhere to testing methods, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Document and Report Information. Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, interpreting, documenting, and storing the results. Communicate test results in a timely manner to the supervisor and properly document in a database.
Maintain Lab Standards. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in and around the lab. Troubleshoot problems and review basic product specifications. Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment periodically.
Monitor Stockpile. Inspect stockpiles, materials sources, and truckloads at plant sites. Monitor the daily construction of the stockpile to ensure that segregation and contamination is kept to a minimum or eliminated. Notify management immediately if contamination is identified.
Inspect Equipment and Structures. Conduct routine inspections of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.

Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Prior training or experience in the materials testing field is preferred. Knowledge of general principles and practices of aggregate production is preferred.

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is hiring multiple Construction Surveillance Engineering Technicians in several locations nationwide. The Construction Surveillance Engineering Technician (CSET) will provide technical services and expertise related to all phases of construction on a variety of projects within the area of responsibility. The position will support the client's Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC), or designee, for construction services such as construction inspection, quality assurance, monitoring safety and environmental compliance and contract administration.
Major Responsibilities
Specific tasks for the CSET include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate Requests from Construction Contractor. Coordinate request from the construction Contractor for outage requests, excavation permits, burn permits, haul routes and other similar items. This will require liaison with the ROICC and appropriate base personnel (Security, Public Works, Fire Department etc.)
Coordinate field activities. CSET shall work with the construction contractor, Navy client customers, activity managers, maintenance and utility servers, Federal Fire departments, and Security Police so there is a seamless coordination of construction activities.
Attend Meetings (Pre-Construction, Safety, Contractor Quality Control, Partnering Meetings, and others) and Conferences - The CSET shall take notes, provide information to the ROICC or the ROICC's representative at the following meetings, conferences, and briefings.
Develop Quality Assurance Plans.
Prepare Construction Representatives Reports (CCRs)
The CSET shall assure that the quality control system of the Contractor is in compliance with contract documents and applicable documents. Prepare draft Contract Construction Compliance Notices (CCCNs) in cases where the CSET observed workmanship and/or materials not in compliance with construction contract documents/specifications or safety infractions.
The CSET shall take and provide the ROICC complete progress, record, special construction, and completion photographs.
Maintain Working Files. NAVFAC's Electronic Construction and Facility Support Contract Management System (eCMS) shall be used to manage electronic submittals and documents.
Minimum Education/Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Control Manager or Superintendent working for a General Contractor on NAVFAC or USACE projects, OR a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a Foreman in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or concrete on commercial/industrial/military projects valued in excess of $5 million. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Journeyman in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or concrete. Residential experience does not qualify.
Required Knowledge or Skills
Specialized training for Construction Quality Verification or completed an equivalent course.
Competent computer skills for network data entry.
Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Ability to communicate in English effectively orally and in writing.
Experience in maintaining official construction site records.
Experience in conducting meetings to resolve problems on construction projects and briefing clients and management personnel.
In depth knowledge of construction practices and workmanship, including experience in proper uses of construction materials and installation methods
In depth experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications on construction projects.
Experience in making materials take-offs for construction work.
Ability and experience in the inspection of materials, workmanship and construction and installation of various systems within the inspector's area of expertise.
Knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry, including a background of familiarity with USACE (EM-385-1-1) and OSHA safety requirements.
Completed the 30 Hour OSHA Construction Training within the past 2 years.

The Construction Surveillance Engineering Technician (CSET) will provide technical services and expertise related to all phases of construction on a variety of projects within the area of responsibility. Major Responsibilities
Specific tasks for the CSET include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate Requests from Construction Contractor. Coordinate request from the construction Contractor for outage requests, excavation permits, burn permits, haul routes and other similar items. Develop Quality Assurance Plans.
Prepare Construction Representatives Reports (CCRs)
The CSET shall assure that the quality control system of the Contractor is in compliance with contract documents and applicable documents. Prepare draft Contract Construction Compliance Notices (CCCNs) in cases where the CSET observed workmanship and/or materials not in compliance with construction contract documents/specifications or safety infractions.
The CSET shall take and provide the ROICC complete progress, record, special construction, and completion photographs.
Maintain Working Files. NAVFAC's Electronic Construction and Facility Support Contract Management System (eCMS) shall be used to manage electronic submittals and documents.
Minimum Education/Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Control Manager or Superintendent working for a General Contractor on NAVFAC or USACE projects, OR a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a Foreman in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or concrete on projects valued in excess of $5 million. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Journeyman in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or concrete. Residential experience does not qualify.
Required Knowledge or Skills
