What You'll Do
Perform diagnostics, service, and preventive maintenance on systems up to 150 tons, including rooftop units, package units, split systems, VAVs, VRF systems, air handlers, and air-cooled chillers
Service light commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using XOi and MobileTech:
Complete and attach Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms
Record detailed call summaries using AI or voice-to-text
Enter and sync notes, photos, and videos across platforms
Submit time worked, refrigerant logs, and inspection reports
Process purchase orders, packing slips, and supporting documents
Complete Red Sheets for additional work and obtain vendor pricing
Represent Hunton with professionalism and a commitment to excellence
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
2 to 5 years of hands-on DX HVAC service experience
Proficiency working with a variety of HVAC and refrigeration brands and systems
Universal EPA Certification (preferred)
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
Availability to work after hours and weekends as needed
Familiarity with VFDs and hydronics is a plus
High school diploma, Technical Trade School or equivalent
Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and/or position equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds as needed
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing, and working in a variety of physical positions
Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces or elevated environments
Visual and auditory acuity to safely operate tools and diagnose equipment in both indoor and outdoor settings
Ability to operate standard HVAC service tools and diagnostic instruments with manual dexterity
Must be able to work in a range of environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and varying weather
Ability to drive to and from customer sites and remain in a vehicle for extended periods
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the role
