PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform as an entry to lead inspector on various projects responsible for the inspection and documentation of construction and the ability to properly interpret construction documents and prepare well-written and concise reports capturing all necessary elements is required. Must be able to properly follow directions, perform in a responsible manner with minimal oversight. Elements to be inspected or monitored may include maintenance of traffic, earthwork, drainage, utility relocation, storm water pollution prevention implementation and compliance, construction of roadway sections, pedestrian and bike facilities, structure elements of work, traffic and lighting improvements, landscape work and other similar activities. Your Impact Collect, compile, and analyze data from the physical work site, surveys, structural plans, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, flow diagrams, material sampling, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for single, multi-phase, or multi-site field inspection activities. We'd Love to Hear From People With: * Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent quality experience * 6+ years of progressive NDT experience in an industrial or nuclear environment * Experience in quality control for design and construction and knowledge of field construction activities * SNT-TC-1A certifications in Leak Testing (LT), Visual Testing (VT), and Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) * AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe for documentation and reporting * Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance A Successful Candidate Brings: * Prior experience at an NRC-regulated site * Bachelor's degree in Science or a technical discipline * ASQ certifications or additional quality credentials * Deep working knowledge of NQA-1, DOE O 414.1D, and nuclear quality programs * Military inspection or quality experience * Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
