This first shift Assembler position starts out at $18.80 an hour and is responsible for a range of assembly operations connected with main and final assembly, sub-assembly; packing, trouble shooting, repair and adjustment of stainless-steel commercial models to meet exacting operating performance. Units are built complete at a single workstation. These positions may require daily and/or weekend overtime to meet customer expectations. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, hoists and work instructions, the Assembler will also use their combined knowledge of both mechanical technology and electrical components to complete production tasks.
* Assembles and repairs equipment according to work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications using hand tools, power tools and precision instruments
* Usage of basic hand and power tools to assist in fitting and aligning parts, maintain close bearing and sliding fits, seal for water and steam tight assemblies
* Reads process sheets, blueprints, and work instructions to determine methods and sequence of assembly operations
* Performs visual inspections of equipment parts for defects related to the fit, form or function
* Works within a team environment to execute weekly production schedules that are measured for productivity
* Demonstrates a high level of competency on assembling of machines
* Assembles, packs and/or crates finished products and parts in a variety of crates or boxes

POSITION SUMMARY
Accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of moderate to complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. May overhaul/repair several product families. Works on products that contain mechanical and electrical components, and multiple product families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Performs basic to moderate assembly/test and overhaul/repair functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing or service environment.
* Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.
* May use X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers and other related equipment.
* Identifies malfunctions disclosed by test data and reworks as instructed.
* Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements and quality directives.
* Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles, test and/or solders to customer and/or industry standards.
* Ensures quality of all products being assembled for cosmetics, dimensional requirements, proper identification, and test parameters.
* Must maintain the highest degree of customer service, quality, productivity, throughput, dependability, safety, a clean and organized work environment, and willingness to accept change.
* Must exhibit team cooperative spirit through assistance to others and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Do: The Core Responsibilities

+ Execute Complex Assembly: Use detailed specification sheets to build mechanical printing parts, including print heads and critical sub-assemblies.

+ Machine Operation: Set up and operate specialized machinery, including hot stampers, brake wheels, and pad printers, maintaining equipment integrity throughout the shift.
+ Quality Control & Troubleshooting: Identify and track rejects. You will be responsible for documenting errors and returning faulty parts to the appropriate departments for repair.
+ Data Integrity: Maintain accurate production records, logging output and quality metrics to ensure the department meets its daily targets.
+ Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in Kaizen events, 5S workplace organization, and ELS (Enterprise Lean System) initiatives to streamline our workflows.

POSITION SUMMARY
Accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of moderate to complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. May overhaul/repair several product families. Works on products that contain mechanical and electrical components, and multiple product families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Performs moderate to complex assembly/test and overhaul/repair functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing or service environment.
* Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.
* May use X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers, and other related equipment.
* Identifies malfunctions disclosed by test data and reworks as instructed.
* Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements and quality directives.
* Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles, test and/or solders to customer and/or industry standards.
