In this role, you'll play a key part in managing the flow of materials, supplies, and products to ensure efficiency across our warehouse/production floor. What You'll Do
Completes required material issue and returned components transactions on an accurate and timely basis.
Maintains inventory locations records, recording all inventory receipts, moves and issues. Responsible for racking and locating inbound receipts.
Loads and prepares and /or unloads shuttle trucks according to departmental and operational polices.
Warehouses materials according to described policy and assists in the maintenance of FIFO stock rotation.
Performs cycle count activities as specified by departmental procedure and assists in preparing and taking of physical inventories.
Responsible for arranging and completing required paperwork for shipments to OSV.
Must be able to complete a bill of lading with the correct information.
Assists in all housekeeping efforts and keeps back pad clean and organized.
Promotes and follows all lift truck safety guidelines and procedures and is responsible for maintaining certification.
Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures.
Recommends safety improvements as needed.
Performs various other duties as necessary.
What You Bring
High School Diploma/GED required
Must be certified to drive all types of forklifts and have at least 2-3 years of experience
Must read and write English and perform simple math calculations.
Must be computer literate.

Pull bulk rolls for finishing assets - practice FIFO - bring oldest material to the machines
Bring pallets to Finishing area
Bring in pallets from outside, if it is raining or snowing bring in extra and stage by the entrance to dry
Consolidate materials: move small rolls to Vpans, put pallets/racks into open racking, work with coating lines to consolidate Renolit racks. Etc.
Break down and store metal and plastic Bulk Racks
Stretch wrap pallets of product coming from finishing
Load finished goods onto trucks for DC as needed
Unload trailers as required
Pull QA's MPI sample list and return when finished
Pull edited rolls from the editor (Finishing pick up rolls from Editor and put them away, Coating Drop off rolls to be run to the editor)
Remove Scrap from Finishing- Replace Gaylord and scrap racks
Pick up and transfer material racks, pallets, and other consumable supplies to/from production areas as required.
Bring empty racks to DUSE as needed for specific orders (Modagrfix, Liner / face jobs) Remove racks and Pallets of finished a Goods from DUSE when finished as needed
Replenish cores at MU2 when asked by the operator

The Team Members We're Looking For...
In this role, you will develop skills in warehouse operations related to both production and vendor products. This includes:
Working the main receiving dock and managing the final disposition of products.
Receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
Distribution of finished goods.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Receiving, identifying, and verifying incoming materials from production and/or outside vendors, and storing them in appropriate locations according to specifications and department guidelines.
Distributing and/or storing items per department guidelines and specifications.
Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation, both via PC and handwritten.
Utilizing appropriate material handling equipment to load and/or unload truckload carriers as per specifications.
Preparing orders for shipment according to instructions and specifications, including pallet labeling, consolidation, or stretch wrapping.
Maintaining inventory as per department guidelines.
Responding to all inter-company requests for materials and material counts, serving as a resource for team members and others in resolving related issues and problems.
As a member of a production support team, training, assisting, and supporting other team members in problem-solving and achieving department goals.
Continuously reviewing current processes and seeking improvement methods to enhance product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that does not add value.
Performing general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within the department/group and assisting other areas as required.
Assisting and supporting in other job functions within the process or other company processes within scope and ability, based on business needs.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
A High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing basic math calculations, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Legible handwriting.
Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
The ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
Good judgment and decision-making ability.
The ability to continuously stand and/or sit, stretch, reach, stoop, and bend.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Inventory Control systems databases and storage locator systems.
Demonstrated skill and safety in using material handling equipment such as Order Picker, Swing Reach, Fork Lift, Hand Trucks, Pallet Trucks, and Clamp Truck. Must be able to obtain a Material Handling License.
The ability to work at varying heights.
Must be safety-conscious and alert to safety hazards.
The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs. with mechanical assistance or the help of another employee. (Incumbent maneuvers up to 2000 lbs. using appropriate material handling equipment.)
