    Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a Senior Plant Accountant to support the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, costing, and financial reporting at our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will prepare key inventory and costing reports, analyze repairs and maintenance spend, coordinate capital expenditure documentation, and contribute to the monthly financial close. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site and at corporate offices to investigate inventory discrepancies, support inventory control activities, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational growth and profitability objectives. Key Responsibilities Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and analyze inventory trends to identify potential issues. Prepare inventory reports, including inventory aging, turnover, cycle count accuracy, and collaborate on excess or obsolete stock. Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliation activities to ensure accurate inventory records. Reconcile inventory transactions and identify root causes of variances, partnering with operations and accounting teams to implement corrective actions. Evaluate and enhance inventory control processes, including documentation and standard operating procedures. Prepare repairs and maintenance spend reports, including analysis of spend drivers. Coordinate completion and approval of capital expenditure documentation. Support ERP or inventory system updates, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. Prepare reconciliations related to inventory and costing accounting. Assist with the monthly financial close process and support audit and compliance requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned to support finance and operations teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant finance experience, preferably with inventory and costing. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups. Strong accounting skills, including experience preparing reconciliations and accruals. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and organizational skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus). Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
