Position Overview:
The clinical research team is made up of nurses, coordinators and research assistants working together to provide clinical research opportunities to our IU Health patients. The team supports over eighty clinical trials in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. These studies serve patients in specialties such as cardiology and CV surgery, pulmonology, transplant, neurology, GI, endocrinology, and infectious diseases.
The research nurse position allows the team member to utilize their nursing knowledge and skills through the coordination of clinical trials.
