What you'll do The Software Engineer II - DevOps will be responsible for managing DevOps tools and cloud platforms and assisting product teams in implementing effective cloud and DevOps practices. You will participate in agile planning, develop software to meet business requirements, refactor and improve existing code. Automate deployment, test processes, troubleshoot issues and manage operational aspects of cloud and DevOps systems. Who you are Ideally you will have a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field with at least three years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or five years of SDLC experience without a degree. Adaptable to a fast-paced agile environment with an understanding of security practices for handling production customer data. Your skill-set Their role includes working with a variety of tools DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, BitBucket, Chef, Ansible, Splunk, and Terraform. Knowledge of the AWS suite, especially EKS, is important. A strong background in configuration management systems, cloud-native platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience with source and artifact control systems, is crucial. They must also be proficient in managing CI/CD pipeline tools, implementing DevSecOps, and using agile engineering practices in product development. Possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and work independently without immediate supervision. Additionally, demonstrate a commitment to quality, maintain high attention to detail and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders. Job Description • At least 6 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks • At least 8 years of experience in design and development of Medical Devices Software systems using C/C++, J2EE or .Net technologies and following Medical Quality Management standards- ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304 with good knowledge of FDA and other Medical regulatory submission requirements • At least 4 years of experience in defining new architectures and driving an independent project from an architectural standpoint. • At least 5 years of experience in developing medical device software systems, defining technology solutions for Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology (knowledge and experience in other medical domains would be a plus) domain to solve business/ IT problem. • Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services. • Understanding of market and technology trends. • Analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
