The Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Technologist is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end cloud services, from strategic planning through to implementation, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, performant, highly available, secure, cost effective, and manageable, and aligned with OCI and industry best practices. This is a senior-level role requiring deep expertise in Oracle Cloud, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to work effectively with customer technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and objectives are achieved. This individual serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor who facilitates the migration and deployment of workloads from on-premise environments or other 3 rd party Clouds, to OCI. He/She works closely with strategic customers, to provide technical know-how, technology guidance, and detailed design and implementation expertise, with the primary objective of assisting customers in getting to production status and realizing the business value of the solution in OCI as quickly as possible. The Cloud Infrastructure Technologist manages creation and delivery of technical content, including detailed Cloud designs that function as build specifications, technical oversight of OCI build and migration efforts, and focus on automation and reusability. In this role, the technologist will engage with a wide cross section of internal and external stakeholders - Sales, Development, Support, and third-party partners to drive cloud adoption efforts. Acts as an acknowledged authority for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
