Outpatient Therapist
Innova Recovery's mission is to be the leader in the field of trauma recovery. Innova Recovery offers individual and family therapy, Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program, and a women's Residential Treatment Center. We are seeking a therapist certified in E.M.D.R. and A.R.T. therapy. Ideal candidates are trained in trauma informed A.R.T., E.M.D.R., and/or other trauma-focused therapy modalities.
This position is a 1099-Contractor.
Must be able to provide clinical services in person.
Must be able to see a minimum of 20 clients per week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Will create, monitor, and update client treatment plans
Must be able to see a minimum of 20 clients per week
Be able to complete assessment and diagnosis in a timely manner
Provide evidence-based treatment working with trauma, individuals, adolescents,couples, substance addiction, and eating disorders
Ensures timely and accurate clinical intervention and documentation
Ensure completion and accurate timesheet entries and Electronic Medical Records notes within 48 hours of client encounters
Consults with Leadership in situations in whichadditional direction and information are needed
Participates in mandatory monthly staff meetings to stay updated on policy
changes and announcements
Maintains professional and solution focused demeanor
Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the State of Texas

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
They design treatment plans, evaluate the results for theclientand make changes to the plan as needed, overseethe clientstrajectory at multiple levels ofcare,and provide weekly clinical reports for insurance review.
The Clinical Therapist oversees clinical interventions,participatesinconsultationand feedbackwith Leadership. Clinical Therapist will ensureproper documentation of clinical interventions arecompliant with joint commission standards. TheClinical Therapistis responsible forhaving knowledge of and compliance with policies and procedures of the center and provides as needed intervention/support to ensure compliance.
The Clinical Therapist will maintain a caseload of clients and lead weekly therapy groups.
The Clinical Therapist will create, monitor, and update client treatment plans.
The Clinical Therapist will provide clinical documentation for weekly utillization reviews.
Ensures timely and accurate clinical intervention and documentation for caseload.
Participates in coordinating coverage for clinical group and services.
Coordinates with several branches of care to ensure effective care for clients.
Works closely with Leadership to provide daily programming required at the center.
Consults with Leadership in situations in which additional supervision, direction, and information is needed.
Participates in mandatory weekly staff meetings presenting client cases for review.
Maintains professional and solution focused demeanor.
Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the state.

General Purpose of Job:
Provided by staff licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners or Texas State Board of Professional Counselors. Mental Health Specialists provide a wide variety of services to include individual, family, collateral and group counseling, diagnostic evaluation, health and behavioral assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, case management support, and referral to community resources as they address the impact of illness through mental health support and treatment. The Mental Health Specialist will provide compassionate care and mental health services (teletherapy and/or face to face) to the families of patients as well as to patients. The Mental Health Specialist will also offer mental health care and support to mothers in the hospital by providing mental health evaluating, referrals, resources, and individual/family counseling. Clinical areas of focus include depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, anxiety and psychosomatic disorders, child abuse and neglect, exposure to violence and trauma, family issues and conflicts, school and work failure, drug abuse and other co-occurring disorders, gender-identify issues, bereavement and more. They provide education to patients, families and hospital staff regarding health, safety, and psychosocial issues. They work in collaboration with physicians and other patient care staff and sensitize the team on the social and emotional aspects of a patient's illness and the impact of the illness on the family. Additionally, the Mental Health Specialist will develop and implement informational, educational, and emotionally supportive programs for families and hospital staff. This position will require some evening and/or weekend work.

Administration of mental health screening tools; i.e.; Edinburgh, PHQ-9, GAD, Columbia- Suicide Severity Scale (C- SSRS), CRAFFT, SBIRT, etc.
Collaborate with the Maternal Fetal Medicine and NICU High Risk clinic.
Provides mediation and crisis intervention services for patients and families
Provides assessment, therapeutic support, and therapeutic treatment recommendations for long-term chronically ill patients and their families.
Provides therapeutic end of life care that may include assessment, advocacy, grief and crisis counseling, and treatment recommendations.
Provides professional consultation to physicians and hospital staff in regard to behavioral health concerns.
Provides programming for the provision of individual, group, and family support / therapy with the goal of reducing maladaptive behavior and fostering effective psychological functioning.
Provision of therapeutic interventions and treatment strategies to include but not limited to; motivational interviewing, treatment engagement, crisis intervention and intensive crisis stabilization, brief and solution focused therapy, and safety planning.
Plans and facilitates support groups for patients, parents, and families
Engages in shared decision making and treatment planning;
Participates in care team conferences, family conferences, and patient care conferences as appropriate;
Maintains compliance with:

Participates in sessions designed to teach and practice complex life skills such as assertiveness, anger management, goal setting, managing criminality and changing thinking errors.
Implements follow-up and after care plans for inmates that participate in the program prior to their release; and disseminates information on community resources for inmate placement in follow-up treatment.
Make available to all inmates, recovery-oriented support groups.
Within 30 days of completion of the program, works with the treatment team to develop a comprehensive assessment plan (CAP) for each inmate on caseload to reflect the evaluation results together with comments about the inmate's level of participation and quality of completion in the substance abuse treatment programs.
Submit copy of the CAP to the Parole Division to be included in the Parole Case Summary.
Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques.
Maintain accountability of staff, inmates, and property; adhere to safety practices.

Position Summary
The Greenwich House Center for Resiliency and Wellness is seeking a Psychotherapist who will be responsible for providing short and long term mental-health services to children, youth, young adults and adults with awareness of trauma informed care, Domestic/Intimate Partner/Gender Violence issues, as well as, LBGTQ/gender nonconforming or questioning communities & Communities of color, using individual, family and group and evidence-based modalities.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide long and short-term psychotherapy to children, youth, young adult and adult clients, as well as, collateral family members where appropriate (including crisis intervention) in person onsite or Telehealth as appropriate based on NYS OMH criteria.
Facilitate time limited and ongoing group therapies.
Utilize concurrent documentation in electronic health record (eCR) in compliance with NYS-OMH regulations and N.Y.C. Department of Health and Mental Hygiene requirements to include: periodic assessment scales; progress notes; treatment plan and treatment plan reviews, incident reports, and encounter forms.
Alert immediately the Director and Assistant Clinical Director of reportable incidents and clients at risk behaviors.
Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Interact with all levels of personnel within the organization.
Secondary Responsibilities
Collaborate with Case Manager & Peer Advocate on shared clients.
Refer clients to appropriate community resources for case management. issues/advocacy, e.g. legal, housing, health, education, vocational, entitlements.
Maintain working relationships as needed with hospitals, nursing homes, entitlement sources, legal advocates and other social service agencies.
Administrative Responsibilities
Participate in supervision and interdisciplinary staff meetings.
Meet program productivity benchmarks for billable services as determined by agency standards.
Participate in ongoing professional training for continuing education units and other professional development as mandated by the agency or recommended by supervisor.
Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Interact with all levels of personnel within the organization.
Qualifications
LMHC, LCSW credentials.
Strong engagement skills and knowledge of mental health conditions and harm reduction recovery.
Experience with children, youth, young adults and adults with awareness of Domestic/Intimate Partner/Gender based Violence issues, as well as, LBGTQ+/gender non-binary or questioning communities, and, communities of color.
Familiarity with a range of therapeutic interventions: play therapy, family therapy, trauma informed care, CBT, DBT, ACT and psychodynamic approaches to treatment.
Alignment with agency standard of ethics, conduct and organization policies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to accomplish client goals and adapt to changing program environment.
Ability to prioritize and implement a course of action for handling multiple tasks.
Language skills a plus e.g. Bilingual Spanish/English.
Sifi certified a plus.

Outpatient Therapist
Innova Recovery's mission is to be the leader in the field of trauma recovery. Innova Recovery offers individual and family therapy, Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program, and a women's Residential Treatment Center. We are seeking a therapist certified in E.M.D.R. and A.R.T. therapy. Ideal candidates are trained in trauma informed A.R.T., E.M.D.R., and/or other trauma-focused therapy modalities.
This position is a 1099-Contractor.
Must be able to provide clinical services in person.
Must be able to see a minimum of 20 clients per week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Will create, monitor, and update client treatment plans
• Must be able to see a minimum of 20 clients per week
• Be able to complete assessment and diagnosis in a timely manner
• Provide evidence-based treatment working with trauma, individuals, adolescents, couples, substance addiction, and eating disorders
• Ensures timely and accurate clinical intervention and documentation
• Ensure completion and accurate timesheet entries and Electronic Medical Records notes within 48 hours of client encounters
• Consults with Leadership in situations in which additional direction and information are needed
• Participates in mandatory monthly staff meetings to stay updated on policy
changes and announcements
