MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintain an instructional and functional computer setting conducive for student learning. 2. Assist the teacher with use of SCI-Tech Curriculum and selecting appropriate instructional lessons from each student. 3. Assist the teacher in monitoring students to maximize time on task to ensure student success. 4. Maintain, generate and issue appropriate computer reports as needed. 5. Assist principal or other supervisor in developing the computer schedule. 6. Motivate children to excel in computer activities through various student incentive programs. 7. Correct or report any hardware/software malfunctions. 8. Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies (hardware/software). 9. Maintain proper cleanliness, storage and maintenance of hardware and software. 10. Assist in supervising students throughout the workday. 11. Follow McAllen ISD customer service standards. 12. Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor (primary evaluator) in accordance with funding source guidelines.
