ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead development of effective training material and professional development.
Articulate learning objectives, identify target audiences, determine delivery methods and collaborate with subject matter experts to execute internal training.
Support internal asynchronous training projects through the design lifecycle from scoping, research and analysis, design, development, and launch; provide clear timelines, communicate with key partners, and select appropriate measurements.
Use learning tools and software to execute key learning and development strategies, including Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline, the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Canva, LinkedIn Learning, and Mentimeter Polling software.
Support experiential learning opportunities, such as gaming, details, and fellowship programs.
Research and evaluate the best practices in Learning & Development to drive continuous improvement and leading practice learning experiences.
Facilitate trainings, team building, and workshops.
Understand current and future business environment and issues to recommend the most impactful solutions that will support learning and development.
Assist as needed to ensure continued learning and development across the department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
College graduate bachelor's degree
At least 2 years of experience with development of education or awareness campaign content, brand management, strategic communications, or related experience
Education and/or experience in adult learning education, training development, marketing, communications, or related field
Strong interest, education, and/or experience in national security
Strong knowledge and prior experience working with education and training platforms including scripts, presentations, storyboard e-learning courses, and structured exercises
Advanced instructional writing skills in multiple mediums
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with subject-matter experts and target audiences
Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion with important matters
Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time

Reporting to the Director of L&D, you will serve as the operational backbone of our training programs, managing the end-to-end logistics for both in-person and virtual certifications. Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end scheduling and administrative functions for in-person and virtual Technical Certification Training sessions.

Serve as the primary administrator for Brivo University (LearnUpon).

Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to actively promote instructor-led training, driving customer interest and ensuring strong attendance for all sessions.
Test and monitor new and updated courses for visual consistency, clarity, and ease of navigation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years in a dynamic operational support or event magnagment role.
1+ years of LMS administration experience is required.
Experience with event planning, scheduling, and logistics is strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Mac OS is required.
Experience with Asana (or similar task management tools) and LearnUpon (or similar LMS) is highly desired.
Exceptional communication skills with a passion for helping others learn.

The compensation package for this full-time position includes a base salary range of $60,000 - $70,000. The ideal candidate will support the client's Training Division to develop and update training content. The ISD shall provide technical expertise to apply the ADDIE model to develop new asynchronous eLearning courses, virtual instructor-led courses, short format eLearning, instructor-led training and performance support tools.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
Duties
Assist and guide the application of the ADDIE methodology
Collaborate with client personnel to conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) that identify security competencies, training requirements, goals, learning objectives, topics, instructional strategies, media selection, and training recommendations for a specified audience
Support new development, due to immediate requirements, through front end analysis, training design plans, storyboards, assessments and beta tests
Support maintaining existing products by identifying changes based on policy, events or the Department of Defense Security Skill Standards (DS3). Changes shall be documented accordingly on storyboards. The contractor shall ensure changes are accurately applied after a client programmer completes the changes
Develop detailed course design documents that include the course content outline, media treatments, technical specifications, assessment strategy, instructional materials and recommended design approach for the course
Develop and update course storyboards which specifies the flow for audio and text of all content to include graphic design for inclusion in the final course product
Conduct and participate in beta tests for products in development and evaluate for accuracy and instructional effectiveness
Develop and update assessments for courses
Evaluate products for instructional effectiveness
Minimum Requirements
Current Secret security clearance
A master's degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education, from an accredited university and Five years experience as an ISD OR
In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least eight years of experience as an ISD
Experience developing and updating online instructor-led or instructor-facilitated distance-delivered courses in a Collaborative Learning Environment (currently Sakai) relevant to security topics
Experience in Instructional Systems Design, and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated courses related to DoD Security Policy
Preferred Qualifications
Ten (10) years of experience in Instructional Systems Design, and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated courses
Two years of experience supporting CDSE, DCSA or other security agencies in the execution of security-related training programs

Technical Course Developer
(TCD) is a critical part of the team responsible for training a diverse DoD audience of range engineers on how to operate the world's largest cyber range, the Persistent Cyber Range Environment (PCTE). As the TCD, you'll use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to collect, manage, and publish instructional material content, and recommend courseware solutions that align and support the customer needs and contractual content development requirements.
Responsibilities:
Create, update, and maintain technical training materials, courses, and curriculum for PCTE users.
Develop curriculum using multiple synchronous and asynchronous training modalities, including instructor-led, micro-learning, blended learning, and self-paced.
Work closely with stakeholders, including government personnel and contractors, to gather requirements and ensure training materials align with mission and PCTE platform needs.
Write clear and concise technical documentation that is easy to understand for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop rapid and agile techniques and processes to create content for a frequently changing environment.
Use a variety of tools and technologies to create and deliver technical documentation.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to incorporate relevant training methodologies and tools into the training curriculum.
Assess and evaluate course effectiveness through survey data analysis.
Lead the development and implementation of new learning models and content design templates.
Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives from analysis to evaluation.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in training development, instructional design, and delivery methods, preferably in a technical or IT-related field.
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise language for advanced and novice learners.
Ability to incorporate user feedback and organizational assessment data into design improvements.
Excellent consulting, project management, and organizational/planning skills.
Proficiency with content development authoring and multimedia development tools/programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.).
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and experience in course deployment and administration.
Demonstrated experience with authoring learning objectives, assessments, and course surveys.
Demonstrated experience with technical training concepts and delivery methods (online and in-residence), including facilitating and delivering courseware for live and self-paced trainings.
Knowledge of the ADDIE process.
Background in HTML.
