The LaFetra College of Education at the University of La Verne is building a strong pool of adjunct faculty to support three student-centered programs: the M.S. in Educational Counseling , the M.S. in School Psychology , and the undergraduate Child Development major. Across these programs, we are seeking colleagues who want to join a diverse, collaborative training community committed to preparing ethical, culturally responsive practitioners and educators who lead with competence, advocacy, and a commitment to social change in PK-12 and community contexts. Adjunct instructors teach the undergraduate Child Development courses, graduate-level Educational Counseling courses, and graduate-level School Psychology courses primarily on the main La Verne campus. However, there are courses online, hybrid (mixed in person and virtual), and/or at remote campuses. We invite applications year-round for a continuous applicant pool for part-time undergraduate and graduate teaching assignments, filled on an as-needed basis. Required Qualifications
Educational Counseling Qualifications : 1. Earned doctorate or master's degree in Educational Counseling or School Psychology from a regionally accredited institution. 2. A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities and issues of social justice. 5. Experience with development of planning, organizing, and implementing data-based comprehensive school counseling programs, best practices in individual/small group counseling, counselor leadership. 6. Working knowledge of the American School Counselor Association ( ASCA ) National Model framework for comprehensive, data-driven school counseling programs. School Pyschology Qualifications : 1. Earned doctorate or Master's degree in School Psychology or Educational Counseling from a regionally accredited institution. 2. PPS Credential with specialization in School Psychology. 3. A minimum of three years of successful experience in school psychology. 4. A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities, and issues of social justice. 5. Experience with data-based decision making, academic intervention/strategy development, best practices in assessment/bilingual assessment, and behavior intervention. 6. JOB SUMMARY
Teaching Associate will teach one or more 2-unit lab section.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
This position involves preparing a syllabus and assignments, creating lessons and class activities, attending class weekly for the duration of the semester, grading assignments, holding weekly office hours, and responding to student communication in a timely manner. Teaching Associates will also work closely with the full-time faculty members teaching the 3-unit lecture portion of the class to make sure the lecture and lab coincide.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a student in the graduate program in the Department of Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Be enrolled in good standing as a classified graduate studen of the graduate program for CAFS.
Maintain academic eligibility throughout the employment period (enrolled, with 3.0 GPA or higher).
Be available to teach courses at time assigned.
Attend pre-teaching course planning sessions during the day the week before classes begin in Fall. Specific dates and times TBA.
Accept responsibility and have the ability to relate well to others.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Based upon the minimum and/or desirable qualifications stated in this position announcement, the initial salary placement range is $81,908 (minimum qualifications) to $119,043 (doctorate) (Fall 2025 salary schedule). Placement is based on the regular full-time faculty salary schedule and is dependent upon verification of relevant experience and coursework from a regional or nationally accredited institution of higher learning.

The Liberal Studies program is housed under the College of Arts and Letters and offers a rich Liberal Arts & Liberal Studies educational experience through selected courses from a wide range of academic disciplines. The major consists of a common core and a choice of several tracks designed to meet diverse student interests and needs not only for teaching in schools, but also for leadership in government, non-profit organizations, and business, and for graduate education in law, counseling, social work and services, public affairs and administration, and educational leadership. Lecturers will teach courses we need covered in our Minor/Certificate program in Speech Language Pathology.

JOB SUMMARY
The Department Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time graduate student applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our subject areas: General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Candidates in this position will be tasked with teaching labs or discussions which are foundational level courses while maintaining an active dialogue with the coordinator. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who have professional capabilities.
Workload can be as little as one course up to a maximum of 15 WTU.
This is a pool of graduate students for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry prides itself on the quality of the instruction it provides, and the personal attention given to its students. Most classes are deliberately kept to a moderate size, so students can better interact with the instructor. General chemistry lecture classes are usually capped at 96, while upper division classes are anywhere between 10-72 students. Laboratory classes are typically 24 for general chemistry, and 16-20 or less for most upper division classes. The upper division labs are mostly taught by permanent faculty, and the lower division laboratories are mostly taught by the part-time lecturers and a few teaching associates from the MSES program. Good advice is considered a key aspect to academic progress at CSUSB, and chemistry faculty advisors are available for consultation. Each student majoring in chemistry or biochemistry will be required to see an advisor at least once each year to ensure they are on track for graduation.
The Department also features state-of-the-industry laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Laboratory bench experience includes ready access to computers for simulation and recording purposes. There are laboratory areas dedicated for laboratory courses as well as research activities.

JOB SUMMARY
The Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program seeks dynamic, equity-centered educators to serve as part-time Adjunct Lecturers. Successful candidates will deliver doctoral-level instruction aligned with program standards and provide mentoring and coaching to students. Adjuncts will collaborate with university and community partners to support student success and continuous program improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; OR
* Associate's degree and six (6) years of related experience; OR
* Possession of a valid lifetime California Community College credential authorizing service as an instructor in Dental Assisting; OR

* A dentist licensed to practice in the State of California with occupational experience in the application of fourhanded dentistry principals either as a dental assistant or working with a chairside assistant; OR
* A dental hygienist with a bachelor's degree acquiring the "Certified Dental Assistant" credential by the Dental Assisting National Board and obtaining occupational experience in the application of clinical chairside dental assisting involving fourhanded dentistry; AND
* Shall have been licensed or permitted for a minimum of two years and possess experience in dental assisting subject matter;

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
