Summary
The Translational Pathology Senior Faculty Member conducts research that is closely aligned and appointed in a Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) Clinical Department. Performance expectations will be defined by rank aligned with Moffitt Research Institute standards (e.g., funding and publication) and the appropriate Appointment, Promotion & Tenure (APT) Committee based on the appropriate research scientific areas (i.e., Basic, Population, or Quantitative Science).
Position Highlights:
The faculty member will:
* Develop and maintain an active research program.
* Support their research primarily through extramural grants and publish original research reports in peerreviewed scientific journals.
* Recruit and appropriately mentor research personnel within their research program.
* Actively and collegially participate in research and research-related clinical activities, including Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) research programs.
The Ideal Candidate:
Ability to develop and maintain an independent research program that complements the Department of Translational Pathology.
Responsibilities:
* Meet specific requirements for salary coverage, extramural grant funding, publications, education, and service activities that are defined by rank in alignment with MRI expectations and within the appropriate APT Guidelines.
* Demonstrate a commitment to teaching/education and mentoring.
* Maintain a significant track record of institutional and extramural service.
* Monitors/provides input into operating expenses for a segment (project/program) of a Cost Center.
Credentials and Qualifications:
* Ph.D., in a scientific field of study that is of relevance to cancer research. In Lieu of PhD, MD/DO (or equivalent).
* Minimum of ten years in a Research Faculty position.
* Minimum of five years in an Associate Faculty level position in a field relevant to oncology.
* Experience in an academic cancer center working on research studies in their field of specialization.

The Department of Information and Technology Management (ITM) at The University of Tampa's Sykes College of Business invites applicants for the tenure track assistant professor in business information technology position to start in fall 2026.
Responsibilities include teaching three four-credit hour courses at graduate and undergraduate levels during each semester in information systems, such as management information systems, business information technology concepts, and web and mobile technology applications. The faculty member is also expected to maintain an active research agenda and publish in high quality peer reviewed journals, as well as engage in service and student involvement activities at the department, college, and university levels.
The ITM department offers undergraduate degree programs in business information technology, cybersecurity, financial enterprise systems, and management information systems. This is in addition to master's degrees in business analytics, cybersecurity, and information and technology management. The ITM department is housed in a state-of-the-art technology building with advanced cybersecurity labs and computer classrooms.
The candidate must have a Ph.D. or ABD from an AACSB/ABET accredited school in the field of management information systems or related fields.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in our Summer STEM programs.
Summer seasonal position (4-10 weeks) starting in June
In-room with kids ages 6-14
PAID training!
No formal experience required
Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun with STEM & Baking!
General Requirements:
Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation
Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
Strong science or baking background with familiarity in experimentation, the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking, and/or baking
Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)
Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.
Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday
Must love working with kids!
Assistant Instructor Requirements:
18 years of age or older
College students studying education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering, or other STEM related fields encouraged to apply
Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc.
Rate: $15-$17/hr
