For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality and best in class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").
Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Performs direct one-on-one patient couneling weekly through individual or group counseling.
Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
Reports patient grievances as required.
Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
Participates in all staff meetings
Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred
Qualified candidates will hold one of the following licenses; LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC
Experience Required:
Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred

Job DescriptionJob Summary: The lead youth counselor supports youth experiencing a mental health crisis in our children's crisis settings. This service is designed to support youth in the community instead of them living in a hospital, hotel or detention center. In this role, you will provide support to youth by implementing interventions identified in their therapeutic support plan and engaging in all daily activities with clients. This includes supporting them with hygiene and daily tasks, cooking, maintaining their schedule, taking them into the community and managing behaviors when necessary. As a lead youth counselor, you are the lead on shift that ensures the schedule is followed and all necessary policies and procedures are adhered to on shift by coworkers. In this role, you will offer mentorship to coworkers and model trauma-informed care interventions. Maintains and performs proper administration and documentation of all prescribed medication, treatments, diets, and/or exams, or as otherwise directed by the CSSP and CSSP-A.
Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA and MORA policies and procedures.

Prepare meals following planned menu for clients in the home and complete weekly food ordering as needed and/or scheduled
Reads and follows company policies and procedures
Check MORA email each shift, utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams as necessary to complete documentation and remain current on MORA and client information
Administers medications following medication administration guidelines
Completes all mandatory training either determined by MORA or 245D regulations
Attend Medical Coordinator trainings and drop ins as needed
Responsible for the overall healthcare management for the clients in conjunction with the Lead Youth Counselor
Oversee the house and client documentation and works closely with the Program Supervisor in ensuring that they are maintained according to MORA expectations and licensing standards
Ensure fire and weather drills are completed according to licensing determined frequency unless delegated where appropriate
Cross train at the multiple Crisis programs to support the needs of the youth and staff ratio.
Works harmoniously with and shows respect to all internal and external individuals
Collaborates with the team to complete other duties as assigned or as needed
Required Qualifications:
21 years or older
Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years of experience with youth in a residential, shelter or crisis programs
Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain “qualified” status.

About Providence House: Providence House offers a range of specialized addiction treatment services, including adult residential care, outpatient programs, individualized and group counseling, comprehensive drug and alcohol evaluations, and personalized treatment planning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, documenting substance use history and evaluating physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual impacts to inform treatment recommendations.
Develop and effectively implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies, facilitating clear communication of observations, treatment recommendations, and patient progress evaluations.
Regularly monitor patient adherence to treatment plans, assessing goal achievement and making necessary adjustments.
Facilitate educational sessions and group counseling focused on addiction and recovery.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic notes.
Obtain necessary releases of information, ensuring compliance with federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR) when communicating with clients, families, guardians, and healthcare providers.
Regularly evaluate program effectiveness against established goals and implement improvements as necessary.
Participate actively in daily clinical team meetings to collaboratively evaluate and track residents' treatment progress.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Addiction Counselor in the state.
Proven experience in addiction counseling and treatment planning.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Intensive in-home counselor job in Saint Cloud, MN
Find your purpose making a difference as an Addiction Counselor at the St. Cloud Hospital! As a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the position facilitates psychosocial assessments, patient care planning, executes therapeutic treatment toward defined goals, and coordinates discharge planning with patients and families.
The vital role will provide clinical interventions to include individual, couples, family, and group education to inpatients/outpatients ages 12 years to geriatric. St. Cloud Hospital/Addiction Services serves as primary clinical site; however additional consultative services may be provided to other behavioral health sites through in-person or Telehealth assessment.
The Addiction Counselor will take a leading role on the therapy team and is ultimately responsible for coordinated case management of assigned clients. Acts as a liaison between treatment team and consulting and referral resource personnel.
Schedule
Full time | 64 hours every two weeks
Variable days between Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
On-site at the St. Cloud Hospital | virtual to all CentraCare hospital inpatient settings
Pay and Benefits
Starting pay begins at $45,344 per year (based on 64 hours per pay period); exact wage determined by years of related experience.
Salary range: of $45,344 - $68,014.68 (based on hours being filled as 64 hours every two weeks)
Salary and salary range of $56,693.51 - $85,018.35 per year are based on a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period), reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications
Graduate-level Chemical Dependency Certificate or Master's Degree in chemical dependency counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field (with an internship in chemical dependency) or
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field (with an internship in chemical dependency) or
High School Diploma or GED graduate plus counselor training program for chemical dependency including internship in primary treatment setting required.
State of Minnesota LADC (Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor) license required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience to be considered for hospital-based consultation work.
Need to be familiar with laws regarding commitment, confidentiality, vulnerable adult, child protection, and patient's rights.
Knowledge and skill in counseling and communication and knowledge about resources for inpatient/outpatient and supportive care and public policy regarding MI/CD in Minnesota.
Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.
Any persons who have direct client contact must have been free of substance use problems for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Substance use problems include the following:
• Receiving treatment for substance use, including medication assisted treatment.

Our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) group homes support individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs. Many of the people we serve have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. They may have a history of failed placements and need a highly structured environment to succeed.
Our homes are specially designed for safety, and our approach is consistent, person-centered, and focused on helping individuals reach their goals while maintaining safety for everyone. Due to the challenging nature of this work, staff receive training in behavioral support and crisis response, including the use of manual restraints when necessary.
Please note: This role may involve exposure to verbal aggression or difficult behaviors. We provide strong training and team support to help you succeed. Must be comfortable working with challenging behaviors.

* Physical Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

* Tech Skills: Basic computer skills for documenting care and tracking progress.
* Communication: Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential. You'll need them to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
