Key Responsibilities:
Provide age-appropriate health, social, and developmental assessments using relevant tools and methodologies, such as Growth and Development Charts and the Denver Developmental Screening Test (Denver II).
Integrate the patient's health history and physical assessment data to develop a suitable plan of care and teaching strategy that includes the family/caregiver's role.
Collaborate with patients, parents/family, and significant others to implement, evaluate, and modify care and teaching plans as necessary.
Perform nursing treatments and tests, including wound care, infusions, medication administration, venipuncture, and tube feedings, under physician orders.
Accurately record all pertinent data in accordance with facility information systems and protocols.
Complete other assignments as requested and assigned.
May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill duties and responsibilities, with access and disclosure defined by each organization/department.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
At least one year of experience as a Pediatric RN within the last five years.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification covering infants, children, and adults.
Proven experience with ventilator/tracheostomy care, tube feeding, and transfer assistance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication skills with clinical and non-clinical staff, children, adolescents, and family/caregivers.
Valid driver's license, if applicable.
Meets applicable health requirements for patient care.
