Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Governance
Oversee and manage physical inventory execution and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy between POS, ERP, and financial systems.
Maintain an end-to-end governance framework for stock integrity, shrink control, and variance reporting.
Coordinate and execute physical inventory programs across all stores, tracking completion rates, timing, and compliance.
Analyze and improve inventory variance trends by identifying process breakdowns and recommending corrective actions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and variance reports highlighting trends, root causes, and key performance indicators.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Finance, Field Operations, and Profit Protection to validate inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
Provide actionable insights to leadership through inventory audits, reconciliations, and exception reporting.
Support audits and compliance reviews through organized documentation and financial transparency.
Contribute to system or process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, timeliness, and reporting reliability.
Operational Execution
Manage vendor relationships supporting physical inventory execution and variance reporting.
Partner with Operations to implement stock control practices that reduce discrepancies and loss.
Support corrective and preventative actions for variance root causes across store, warehouse, and corporate systems.
Maintain an accurate and centralized repository for audit, compliance, and external reporting.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in inventory control, finance, or operational analysis within a retail, distribution, or multi-format organization.
Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting structures.

* Communicate with the Pet Care Center Leaders upon completion of day on any remaining unfinished orders, SFS WIMR screen correction information for the Pet Care Center to complete at end of day.

THE JOB
As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a key role in aiding hospital operations by keeping our facility, stock rooms, and treatment areas organized and fully functional. You are an essential part of the veterinary team, overseeing inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, and daily supply audits, and ensuring everything is in place for smooth, efficient care. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Daily hospital organization and maintenance, including but not limited to cleaning, laundry, stocking, and inventory

Order, receive, and stock inventory orders for the hospital, including the treatment area, exam rooms, lobby, and stock rooms

Monitor and clearly communicate backordered items with proven exhaustion of all available vendors and resources

Maintain a log of all invoices according to DEA and regulatory manager

Summary of Role/Position

* Ability to gain narrow aisle forklift certification.

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. In addition, by using a system of priorities, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
