* Responsible for supervising housekeeping functions on assigned shift to ensure the cleaning and upkeep of hotel rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, hallways, work and storage areas according to established standards, as well as to achieve effective and efficient supervision of team members and financial resources.

* Coach, monitor, and develop team members for improved performance.

- Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department on designated shift. - High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Must be able to perform the physical job duties of all EVS team members in times of emergencies. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. - Must be able to operate all standard EVS equipment, including, but not limited to vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, computer, copy machine, mop, broom, and handheld radio. - Knowledge of OSHA standards. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence. - Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

This position qualifies for a $500 Sign-On Bonus. This bonus is not valid for any former Cactus Petes team members or current team members.
* Responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in assigned section.
* Fills all reasonable guest requests and directs the guest to the appropriate person for assistance.
* Adhere to safe handling of all chemicals.
* Report any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, or the Housekeeping Manager.
* Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.
* Follow the established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
* Clean and service guest rooms as outlined in the housekeeping training manual.
* Report room status on room attendant sheets.
* Restock housekeeping room attendant carts with guest supplies and chemicals.
* Maintain housekeeping room attendant carts and work areas in an orderly and neat manner.
* Report damage, improvement or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate housekeeping supervisor.
* Must complete all assigned rooms in a timely manner.
