About the role

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Plant Controller within the Orica Speciality Mining Chemicals team.
The Plant Controller partners with the site management team as the key business finance interface, providing insight into underlying performance and driving accountability for results across the management team.
What you will be doing
Prepare site monthly business report (MBR) and lead the meetings
Evaluate and maintain accuracy of general ledger and subledgers.
Manage, track and report site capital spend to budget
Reconcile all accounts within required timeframe and oversee preparation of all monthly bank reports.
Analyze all financial records and assist in consolidation of all financial statements.
Evaluate monthly financial trends to support variance analysis in coordination with Plant Manager
Assist Plant Manager in forecasting operational expenses.
Ensure compliance to all local, state, and Federal tax regulations.
Ensure and maintain the accuracy of the physical inventory.
Prepare all required correspondence and maintain all accounting files and ensure accuracy of same.
Assist in preparation of annual budget.
Assist in preparation of external audit.
Identify all appropriate systems and procedures to maintain efficiency of all financial information.
Recommend strategies to Corporate Controller and maintain knowledge on all current trends and provide training to all accounting and benefit regulations.
Monitors and coordinates plant accounting deadlines for month-end close, year-end, and other reporting requirements.

Seven (7) years of related experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a leadership capacity preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be a substitute.
Professional accouting qualification (e.g., CPA / CA) preferred

Under general supervision, provides friendly, efficient and accurate service to guests playing bingo in the casino bingo lounge; sells bingo cards, calls and records bingo games, pays out winners; and performs other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This class specification may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties that may be performed.)
Receive payment from guests wanting to participate in bingo games, issue bingo cards, make change and arrange for the payout to game winners in order to provide excellent customer service and to promote the Carson Nugget as the "friendliest casino in town".
Initiate and conduct bingo games by calling numbers during session(s) in a standardized and professional manner; verify winning cards and appropriately record same in order to keep the logbook up-to-date on all jackpots
Verify wins and provide cash outs on winning bingo cards, by contacting the appropriate back up personnel as determined by the size of the cash out in order to assure integrity of the game(s).
Check out bank at the beginning of each shift and keep an appropriate amount of currency on hand during the shift to complete all cash transactions; check in bank at the close of shift, completing all required records, including daily statistical reports.
Keep track of bingo supplies by performing periodic inventories of game schedule paper, log forms, etc. to ensure that replacements are ordered in a timely manner.
Respond to guests' questions, using the QuickReference Guide to provide information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
Education and Experience:
Previous full-time experience handling cash on a regular basis and previous experience in a position with regular direct public contact, efficiently and effectively exhibiting excellent customer service. Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must be able to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration
