We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer to join a high-acuity outpatient practice supporting women with high-risk pregnancies. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, no weekends, and all major holidays off-ideal for sonographers seeking work-life balance while continuing to practice at a high clinical level.
The sonographer will independently perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including daily fetal echocardiograms, using state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative MFM environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive obstetric ultrasound exams in a high-risk MFM setting
Conduct daily fetal echocardiograms
Perform detailed anatomy scans (60-minute exams; no back-to-back anatomies)
Evaluate fetal growth, fetal anomalies, Doppler studies, and fetal well-being
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to women with complex pregnancies (e.g., advanced maternal age, diabetes, cancer during pregnancy, growth restriction)
Independently manage exams from start to finish, including documentation
Accurately document and upload studies using EPIC EMR
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment according to department standards

Education
Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Licensure
Current and valid certification in Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) to perform first-trimester nuchal translucency for risk assessment must be obtained within one year of hire.
Current and valid certification in OB/GYN with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an UltrasoundTechnologist.
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, and reach above the shoulder frequently in a clinical setting.
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry or push and pull up to 100 lbs. as part of the role
Regularly exposed to healthcare settings that may require personal protective equipment
Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other equipment.
