What You'll Do
* Own the schedule and technical quality of electricalengineering tasks across multiple projects.

Role Overview
As an ElectricalEngineering Intern at REGENT, you will work at the intersection of the systems that power, move, and control our seagliders. This multidisciplinary role is primarily focused on electricalengineering, with direct exposure to propulsion and actuation systems that push the boundaries of high-performance maritime aviation. You'll support the design, integration, and testing of critical vehicle subsystems-from high-voltage distribution to electromechanical actuators to power-dense propulsion hardware.

What You'll Do
As an intern in this role, you may:
Electrical Systems
* Support design, layout, and documentation for HV/LV power distribution and signal networks

The Building Electrical Group is responsible for all building electrical systems including lighting, fire protection and low voltage for our design build, industrial projects. We design and build food and beverage production facilities. Our building electrical team is involved with designing the electrical systems, calculating power loads, determining, and selecting equipment sizes, and vetting and selecting suitable vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. The professional will have technical responsibility for scoping, performing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments. His/her specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
Design electrical systems for building power, i.e. normal, emergency, and standby power distribution systems for 208v, 480v, and medium voltage for industrial facilities.
Document all necessary calculations for the design such as short circuit, selective coordination, arc flash, generator sizing, steady state and transient voltage drops, load calculations, conductor sizing, raceway fills, etc.

Understand Ohms Law, AC/DC, Electric and magnetic fields
