RESPEC seeks an Early Career Geologist to join our Pipersville, PA, location.
The Early Career Geologist position will be part of a team that supports geotechnical, environmental, and engineering projects through field investigations, data collection, and technical analysis. This role involves conducting subsurface explorations; soil and rock logging; groundwater, surface water, and stormwater sampling; and site assessments to evaluate geologic conditions. The Early Career Geologist prepares or supports the preparation of technical reports, interprets geologic and geotechnical data, and collaborates with geologists, engineers, and project managers to support design recommendations and regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include:
Conducting geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental investigations
Performing field sampling of groundwater, surface water, soil, air, and other materials

Performs geologic logging and sampling for soils, rock, and other materials according to well developed standards and protocols to support geological interpretation, resource estimation and determination, geochemical analysis, geotechnical testing, and other engineering design and interpretation
Develops, designs, and manages drilling, sampling, testing, and other similar investigative programs for various commodities of interest to support geological and hydrogeological exploration and investigation activities associated with studying and developing geological, civil, and mining-related projects
