What You'll Do
* Own the schedule and technical quality of electricalengineering tasks across multiple projects.
* Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, and power plans.
* Assist with complex design portions, providing on-site support during startup and construction.
* Prepare construction documents and ensure alignment with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Ideally, you'll also have:
* Professional Engineer (PE) license
* Master of Science Degree in ElectricalEngineering

We're looking for a Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. - 10+ years of experience as an instrumentation and control design engineer for industrial private-sector clients such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, food products, or petrochemical industries preferred. Strong preference will be given to pharmaceutical experience.
- Experience in design, testing and startup of industrial process automation systems.
- Experience with industrial process control networking including Fieldbus technologies.
- Control panel design. Knowledge of UL508A requirements for industrial control panels.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Piping & Instrument Diagram Development (P&ID) including ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred
- Professional Engineer Registration (PE)

Complete electrical design for circuit boards to accomplish functions within a UAS. This includes concept definition, modification of existing designs, implement development hardware in a hardware in the loop (HWIL) laboratory, test, and documentation.
Complete PCB design to include schematic capture, BOM generation, PCB placement/routing, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bring-up, integration, acceptance testing
Complete electrical design for other UAS components including the electrical power system, telemetry unit interface, offboard interface, and harnessing.
Document and present analysis results to technical leads, management, and/or customers.
Work closely with the software and electricalengineering team to perform peer review and testing roles.
Lead and/or support the conduct of component, system, and subsystem testing.
Support the development and implementation of engineering procedures as required.
