    Mortenson is currently seeking a Cement Mason Journeyman that will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures, using appropriate tools (i.e., hand or power tools, floats, trowels, screeds). RESPONSIBILITIES Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency Prep work utilizing cementitious or finish product to ensure substrate is appropriate for product; set forms to specific standards, such as chipping, bushing, and grinding Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finish; place concrete to ensure proper elevation Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound Mold expansion joints and edges Grind, chip, or blast to prep surface for materials, or as finish Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED Minimum two (2) years related experience Must have passed Apprentice Aptitude Test Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; knowledge of equipment and their uses; basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, active listening skills, and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.     Job Description: Site Supervisor (OMA Project) Company: Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group Partner: Vanderlande Job Type: Temporary W2 Position (22-Month Duration) Compensation: $30 per hour Position Overview: Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group, in partnership with Vanderlande, is seeking a Site Supervisor for the Eppley Airfield Terminal Modernization Program (OMA Project). This temporary W2 position will last 22 months and requires SIDA badging, meaning a clear background check is mandatory. The Site Supervisor will report to the Project Site Manager and work closely with the Safety Manager to oversee daily operations, workforce coordination, and compliance with all safety and project standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in managing construction or industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Site Operations & Workforce Coordination: Supervise daily project activities and ensure work is progressing according to schedule. Serve as the primary point of contact for field workers and subcontractors. Monitor and coordinate site logistics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Enforce compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements. Safety & Compliance: Collaborate with the Safety Manager to maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with Vanderlande HSE North America requirements, including: Supporting the implementation of safety policies and procedures. Assisting with incident reporting and documentation. Ensure compliance with Holder Construction safety protocols, including: Attending and facilitating safety meetings as required. Promoting Holder safety standards among the Site Team. Training & Oversight: Provide training and guidance to the workforce on site-specific procedures and expectations. Ensure all workers understand and follow safe work practices. Assist with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and confirm daily compliance. PPE & Equipment Management: Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements are followed at all times. Oversee inventory and distribution of Vanderlande-provided PPE. Conduct inspections of equipment and tools to confirm compliance. Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing and submitting daily progress reports. Ensure accurate record-keeping for safety compliance, work hours, and equipment usage. Maintain communication with the Project Site Manager regarding project developments. Qualifications & Requirements: Must pass a background check to obtain SIDA badging. Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction, aviation, or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, job site safety, and compliance procedures. Ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and workforce coordination. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Certifications in occupational safety (e.g., OSHA 30) are preferred but not required. Work Environment & Schedule: Temporary W2 position for 22 months. Work is conducted on-site at Eppley Airfield (OMA). Requires standing, walking, lifting, and overseeing work operations. Must adhere to airport security protocols and construction site safety regulations.
