S/he manages field labor crews with varying levels of experience, and executes production, safety, and quality goals. Base hourly rate of $32/hr - $41/hr KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Keeps records of assignments and produces detailed work reports. Directs workers engaged in piping and pre-installation of plumbing systems and components. Facilitates knowledge transfer and teaches trade skills to less experienced tradespeople. Loads and unloads trucks of material to be staged and installed throughout the jobsite. Inspects and ensures the availability of all tools and materials needed to complete a given project. Directs the work of craft labor engaged in cutting, pre-assembly, and installation of HVAC components, and the building on, or modification of, existing systems. Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work sequence and effective, safe procedures. Studies building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish the sequence of installations, and plan installations around obstructions such as wiring, plumbing, etc. Completes all AHA's and daily huddles, and pre-plans work to ensure safety, productivity, and quality. Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify the cause of errors, safety hazards, or other issues, and solutions or escalates them appropriately. Ensures all prints/specs are shared with the fabrication shop, so that production forecasts can be met. Works with Project Management staff to develop 3-week look ahead schedules, utilizing data that has been loaded into CAD or BIM, in order to provide clash detection for all sheet metal operations. Manages employee schedules, and ensures all time is recorded and reported via the proper channels. CONDUCT STANDARDS: Maintains appropriate Company confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities: Installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signal and ITS systems Servicing traffic signal and fiber equipment by checking, testing, splicing, and replacing faulty components such as LED modules, electronic traffic components, cables, loop detector, switches, and fixtures. Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV and MVDS units and DMS signs. Installation of traffic signal, fiber optic and streetlight cable Receive and follow direction from superintendent(s) and Project Manager(s) on miscellaneous tasks that are needed throughout the shift Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required. Minimum 3-5 years of recent, verifiable experience as a Traffic Signal Technician Experince leading firled, constuction crews. Current license as Journeyman Electrician can be substituted for experience as Traffic Signal Technician Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, traffic signal plans/specifications and procedure manuals. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to move supplies and equipment of up to 75 lbs. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. We at Aspire Communications are seeking a skilled and motivated OSP Foreman to lead our outside plant (OSP) construction and installation teams. The OSP Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions 1. Leadership and Team Management Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of OSP technicians and contractors, providing guidance, direction, and support to achieve project objectives. Task Assignment: Assign tasks and responsibilities based on project schedules and deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
