QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two year AA or Technical degree in a related field.
Four years directly related supervisory and facility experience in bus and/or heavy equipment vehicle maintenance, including one year experience in small equipment repair. Work in a similar size school district or other organization may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Experience with current office technology (e.g., computers, fax, copier, GroupWise, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with Class 'B' Commercial Driver's License with "P1S" endorsement and acceptable driving record.
Computer knowledge of vehicle diagnosis software with basic knowledge of fleet maintenance software, fuel dispersal program, and vehicle inventory.
Possess a basic set of auto mechanic tools and storage cabinet.
Current WISHA approved first aid/CPR certification.

Assist in management of the transportation mechanic program for entire district, working closely with the Crew Leader. Assist with job assignments.
Assist the Crew Leader and Transportation Director and Human Resources in decisions concerning interviewing, hiring, and promotion of transportation vehicle maintenance staff.
Review time sheets, leaves, and assist in auditing payroll records.
Assist in the performance and discipline process as needed and as directed by the Transportation Director and the Executive Director of Human Resources. Strong writing skills essential.
Coordinate and review work of employees as needed.
Resolve complaints concerning transportation mechanical maintenance services.
Provide resources and guidance that will enable crews to accomplish their job requirements as directed by the Transportation Director.
Develop and maintain proficiency in the District computerized Work Management System Transportation Maintenance and Material Inventory modules (MPulse).
Assist in developing long range plans and schedules for transportation vehicle maintenance and preventative maintenance. Ensure goals are reached.
Implement district policies, procedures and applicable state regulations, keeping current material safety data sheet (MSDS) booklet for all hazardous materials used by transportation vehicle maintenance personnel. Train personnel in the safe use of hazardous materials.
Assist in coordination of assigning work of crews.
Assist in compiling, analyzing, and developing specifications for bus maintenance work.
Assume responsibility to deal with emergency situations.
Participate in district supervisory training.
Assist Transportation Crew Leader in overseeing the daily activities of the bus garage, advising and / or training mechanics, participating in work, and keeping required records. (Currently assigned to swing shift).
Inspect school district vehicles and equipment for safety hazards; report and/or correct as needed.
Carry out the responsibilities of Transportation Crew Leader in his/her absence.
Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend, assemble and erect all components necessary for lifting, moving and installing plant materials in accordance with the applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.
Build aerial plant to customer specifications to include framing poles, placing new strand, lashing new cable to bare strand, over lashing cable to existing strand and cable. Installing anchors and down guys, snowshoes, placing FST fiber terminals, grounding & bonding of strand, placement of riser guards, trimming trees, pulling of cable/fiber short distances in conduit, installing pole mounted cabinets, placing ground rods and installing VGR's on poles, swapping lashers on poles either from a bucket truck or from hooks/ladders.
Dismantles, moves, and removes aerial, underground or building wire, cable associated equipment and hardware.
Connects wires and cables to terminals and attaches/detaches various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, building, or poles.
Supervise and direct field crew.
Train new hires in safe work practices.
Schedule projects, coordinate with cities and subcontractors.
Lead, complete, and sign off on daily pre-job safety planning in the appropriate format. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or mitigate hazards. Assure all crew members understand, participate, and sign all pre-job safety planning tools at start and end of shift.
Reports all accidents and near misses to supervisor.

Supervise ground hands and lineman to ensure safety and productivity
Complete daily time sheets and daily production update reports.
Complete reports related to project status, progress, or other work details, using computer software.

Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices (i.e., back-up alarms, smell of smoke or fumes, different colored warning tag, warning sirens.

+ Responsible for the daily supervision and management of sanitors for specific areas and departments at our customers' facilities.
+ The position's primary duty involves customary and regular direction of the work of the sanitors. While the Site Supervisor may at peak times (e.g., start-up and pre-op) utilize their independent judgment and discretion to assist the sanitation laborers, the Site Supervisor's primary duty does not involve the performance of manual labor.
+ Apportion work assignments among the sanitation lead persons and sanitors.
+ Ensure sanitors work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with governmental, customer, and company policies and procedures.
+ Evaluate sanitors for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status.
+ Ensure that the sanitation team complies with all internal company procedures and policies, including Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and general customer service.
+ Ensure compliance with the procedures set forth in the Team Member Handbook,
+ Safety Handbook, and Cleaning Procedures.
+ Assist Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager implement training programs including safety training and ERP.
+ Report and investigate all accidents.
+ Other job duties as assigned
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ 6 or more months of sanitation experience.
+ Leadership and decision-making skills are required.
+ General working knowledge of computers and technology including Microsoft Office
+ Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE").
+ Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
+ Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree ("GED").

**CUALIFICACIONES MÍNIMAS**
Habilidad para leer, escribir, sumar y restar. Seis (6) meses a un años de experiencia relacionada al saneamiento, conocimiento general de trabajo en computadores/tecnología (Ej. Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word) Habilidad para utilizar equipo de protección personal y habilidad para trabajar en ambientes laborales con fluctuaciones extremas de temperature. **CUALIFICACIONES PREFERIDAS**
