In collaboration with the ECS Manager, investigates any child or staff incidents, ensures that all agency/licensing forms are complete, and notifies appropriate authorities within the required timeframes. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with parents, Policy Council or committee representatives, community agencies, other staff, as well as enhancement of volunteer participation, representing CII and the ECS program to the community and others as needed. Ensures meal counts are recorded at the point of services. Maintains working knowledge of current practices and research in the early childhood education field through reading, participation in seminars and other educational opportunities and personal contacts/memberships in the field.
