Offshore Safety Manager Haugland Group is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to join our team for an offshore project in the New England area. This position follows a 21-days-on/21-days-off hitch rotation schedule and requires travel by helicopter.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, highly organized individual to join the Environmental Health and Safety team to provide safety support to our teams and ensure compliance with all regulations on an offshore platform.

Key Functions
* Provide safety support to the project teams aboard the offshore platform
* Conduct frequent safety inspections/audits
* Complete weekly safety meetings (toolbox talks) with employees and subcontractors
* Assist in the development of site-specific Health and Safety Plans, Safe Work Plans, Job Hazard Analyses and Tailboards
* Investigate all near misses, injuries, accidents and property damage
* Ensure safety compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
* Interact with project managers, supervisors and workers to identify and correct unsafe conditions or work practices
* Identify loss producing conditions and practices, recommending appropriate corrective action
* Observe tasks as they are being completed to provide support and ensure safe practices
Desired Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in the offshore wind or oil & gas industry, including exposure to complex marine operations, offshore construction, and Global Wind Organization standards
* Bachelor's degree in safety, Construction Management of a related field
* Must have the Global Wind Organization Basic Safety Training Standard
* HUET & CA-EBS2 Certification is required
* Must have up to date medical and physical examinations, Chester Step Test, and Escape Chute Training
* OSHA 10 T&D, OSHA 30, OSHA 500
* Proven ability to operate effectively in challenging offshore environments
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
* Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner. Able to follow verbal and written instructions with little supervision.
* Ability to identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations

A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.

We are interviewing for:
Arborist Crew Leader - We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Arbor Care Crew Leader to manage and lead our tree care team in the field. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of tree care activities, ensuring the safety of your crew, the quality of services provided, and customer satisfaction. You should have at least 5 years experience as a Crew Leader, expert with multiple types of aerial lifts and accomplished climber; CDL is preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Promote and enforce company safety protocols
* Lead, motivate, and supervise a crew of tree care professionals, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
* Assign and prioritize daily tasks based on project requirements and crew capabilities.
* Be actively involved in on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members.
* Oversee daily maintenance of tools and equipment assigned to you/your crew.
* Demonstrate and perform proper climbing and rigging techniques, structural pruning and tree dissection skills.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience as a Crew Leader in residential tree care
* Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
* Experience as an aerial lift operator and climber.
* Proven ability to safely operate and maintain tree care equipment (e.g., chainsaws, stump grinders, chippers, aerial lifts).
* Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper pruning techniques.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
* Capability to work in various outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain).
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
