Job Summary:
Directly supervise hourly personnel during the production shift and satisfy all production, quality and safety requirements in the most economical manner possible.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize and control shift operations in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Maintain total awareness of Company policies, procedures and regulations, and ensure compliance by all assigned employees.
Focus efforts toward the completion of production in accordance to the daily production schedule. Conduct operations to maximize production yield while minimizing loss of raw materials, supplies and components.
Check equipment speeds at the start and throughout regular tours during the shift.
Ensure the timely and accurate recording and submission of all necessary forms, reports and documents required for management reports.
Provide continuous on-the-job development, training and motivation of personnel to acquire maximum quality, productivity, cooperation and morale.
Maintain close supervision of both personnel and operations through physical presence on the production floor. Supervise primarily in designated area. Responsible for production reporting and interface with warehouse personnel.
Work and coordinate with other Supervisors and departments to be aware of all production issues so that problems can be addressed in time, minimizing negative effect on line productivity and product yield.
Ensure that all shift personnel; equipment, materials and areas of operation conform to all pertinent health and safety regulations.
Identify and resolve problems on a timely basis and investigate cause of production interruptions.
Report and communicate promptly both unresolved and anticipated problems.
Ensure that assigned areas are maintained at or above minimum housekeeping standards.
Provide organizational and technical expertise to assist in the resolution of operational problems in order to maintain required productivity and quality levels.
Participate in all scheduled meetings as directed by the production Manager.
Assist Senior Supervision in handling administrative functions such as scheduling vacation, assuring proper attendance, accident reports, time & attendance and addressing the first level of grievance procedures.
Provide work assignments and line staffing to properly maintain labor productivity and line output according to standards.
Submit recommendations and implement productivity improvement and cost reduction programs.
Recommend the hiring and dismissal of non-exempt employees to the Production Manager for approval, in compliance with Company Policies. Authorize overtime, if more senior management is unavailable. Accept responsibility for management decisions during second shift, if more senior management is unavailable.
Ensuring compliance with applicable quality system standards and the unit's food safety and security programs in support of essential manufacturing strategies and practices.
Serves as Alternate to Maintenance Supervisor to ensure effective coverage of the Safe Quality Food responsibilities pertaining to that position.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred in production management or related field and 3-5 years previous supervisory experience in similar environment. Knowledge and experience may be substituted for degree.
Proficient PC skills with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Detail oriented and organized; work on multiple projects concurrently, set priorities and follows through.
Able to work varied shifts, including weekends.

The Senior Production Technician reports directly to the Production Manager, supporting our New Jersey region.

Qualifications:
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older (18 in NY).
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
Knowledge of state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is non-negotiable.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will lead and develop a team of Test Technicians responsible for the safe and efficient execution of high-voltage testing across Helion's production and development programs. In this role, you will manage daily test schedules and operations, drive technician growth and training, and partner closely with Test Engineers and Production Managers to ensure consistent coverage, safety, and quality across all test areas. This is an onsite role reporting to a Production Manager at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
* Supervise day-to-day operations of the Test Technician team, including scheduling, staffing, and shift coordination to maintain full test coverage
* Champion a culture of safety and technical excellence by ensuring adherence to all high-voltage and test protocols
* Partner with Design & Test Engineers to implement, improve, and sustain testing processes, equipment readiness, and automation initiatives
* Lead technician training and certification programs, ensuring all team members meet or exceed Helion's High Voltage Operator standards
* Monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and drive professional development within the technician team
* Track test throughput, identify process bottlenecks, and coordinate cross-functional solutions with engineering and production leadership
* Support hands-on troubleshooting and test readiness activities as needed to resolve issues and sustain continuous operations
* Foster continuous improvement through standardized work practices, lessons learned, and feedback loops with Test Engineering and Production
Required Skills:
* 3-5 years of supervisory experience
* Familiarity with electrical testing practices and high-voltage safety protocols
* Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
* Experienced in managing schedules and priorities across shifts
* Experienced in collaborating with Engineers, Supervisors, and cross-functional partners to maintain operational excellence

$100,000-$120,000 USD
