What you will do
The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, using relationships, and closing new business for Johnson Controls Security and ensuring customer retention. This person is the Johnson Controls Security "brand steward", charged with telling the Johnson Controls Security story and clearly demonstrating that Johnson Controls Security is the leading electronic security provider. How you will do it

Plan and support local events to improve effectiveness of dealers and distributors in marketing METUS products.
Develop and deliver educational content to Business Unit sales staff, Diamond Contractors and Ductless Pros, and Distributor staff to educate them on HVAC / METUS marketing best practices and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, creative tools/digital art or related field.
3+ years progressive experience in a marketing support role.
3+ years in customer-facing relationship management, customer training, account management role preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff and outside clients and vendors.
Basic to proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. What will you do

What you will do
This position is working for a major ESCO in the United States. It is a senior level position reporting to the Director of Governance. Under minimal direction, provides consultation and project development oversight of the Project Development Team to achieve department and project objectives on large, complex, high-risk projects.
This will primarily occur during risk reviews and contract reviews. The successful candidate will be capable of preliminary discussions with the team developing the project and ascertain the underlying risks in the development, execution, and the performance management phases of the project.
How you will do it
Develops project development processes and engineering tools, implements the project development process, integrates and analyses technical, financial and legal information to determine project viability and certifies conformance to all code and regulatory requirements
Conducts appropriate research for unique applications, supports engineering, process or financial tasks during both preliminary and detailed development of projects. Conducts project risk reviews for design integrity of projects developed by other engineers in the Solutions Infrastructure business as well as third party engineers and vendors. Review the scope of work in Owner/JCI contracts and JCI subcontracts. Review the Measurement & Verification plan in Owner/JCI contracts.
Supports the team in achieving business goals by following and expanding the Solutions Playbook and Best Business Practices methodology. Responsibility to establish an ongoing partnership with the customer on assigned projects. Leads & mentors Project Development and/or M&V Engineers III, II or I.
Additional Responsibilities:
Leads project risk reviews and contract reviews including measured energy savings calculations; non-measured project benefits; establishment of base line energy consumption; scopes of work; construction schedules, construction cost estimates.

What we look for
10+ years experience as a development or M&V engineer at an ESCO.
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Undergrad experience performing building modeling preferred (example IAC program) CEM and/or CMVP Certification Required.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated subject matter expert (SME) in specific specialty or line-of-business area. Possess strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage tasks associated with development of projects.
Fully competent in analysis and assessment of facility systems. Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams, work effectively with others, drive for results, and focus on the customer & acts ethically.
Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and legislation applicable to performance contracting. Experience writing M&V plans using IPMVP Options A-D preferred.
Has demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working in customer-facing situations. Solid computer skills, including an understanding of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, eQuest (or other building simulation program), & NISC benchmarking tools. Demonstrated ability to review contract and subcontract schedules. Ability to travel approximately 25%.

What you will do

Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.

Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
