Assist with development of OSINT collection plans. Assist with identifying, collecting, and exploiting both structured and unstructured publicly available open-source and social media information, or other overt and/or publicly available information available information. Use Government-approved OSINT specialized equipment, tools, techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) for conducting OSINT activity (searches and research), specifically accessing, collecting, reporting, and disseminating overt and/or publicly available information on the clear, deep, dark web. Assist with providing raw unevaluated OSINT reporting for serialization and dissemination that responds to or satisfies collection requirements and/or align with the Homeland Security Priority Framework (HIPF). Essential Functions: The Lineman performs highly skilled, journey-level transmission, distribution, and electrical work in the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead electric transmission, distribution and service lines, transformers, meters, metering equipment, electrical substations, and related equipment. Work requires rigid observance of safety protocol, working during inclement weather conditions, climbing utility poles and handling high voltage. Assists with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of overhead electrical power lines and systems. Assists in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of transmission and substation facilities. Assists with service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems. Receives training online, in classroom and on-the-job as well as train/mentor apprentice and groundhand workers on the project team Operates motorized equipment, use hand tools, and perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and tools. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Follow safety rules and practices (Wearing PPE, Set-up Work Zone, Grounding Techniques, etc.) Experience in the installation and maintenance of various types of distribution and transmission lines ranging in voltages from 4kV to 500kV including wood poles, H-frames, steel poles, lattice structures, etc. Thorough knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Innovative with mean and methods Knowledge of and competence to perform hot stick work Know the tooling for line work and how to use, adjust and calibrate them Know what safety equipment is used in line work and how to test and examine it before use Know Lockout I Tag-out and tagging procedures Know how to read and understand a print for the system(s) they are working on Know electric safety and how electricity works. (Static, AC, DC, Grounding, Phasing, Induction, Step potential) Know and understand the operation of support equipment; digging equipment, pulling carts, reel trailers, etc. Know and understand the different types of electrical equipment used on an overhead electrical system Know proper wire pulling, sagging and deadending procedures Understand and demonstrate the proper methods for determining if a line is energized or not Know how to build and change out aerial equipment such as Transformers, Switched, Reclosers, etc Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of previous Lineman experience Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces, performing mentally/physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment or material Must be able to climb a power pole using climbing hooks and belt Must be able to drive all vehicles assigned to the line crew, operate digger derrick to set poles, etc Must be capable of pulling, pushing, bending, stooping and kneeling on a frequent basis Must have sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to get and use the appropriate equipment and tools and assist other line repairers Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required Able to lift in excess of 100 lbs Able to properly inspect rubber gloves and PPE Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight (8) or ten (10) hour day according to the schedule. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and paid time off. Job Responsibilities Construct or repair masonry surfaces and structures as needed. Prepare surfaces with meticulous attention to detail prior to bricklaying. Lay building materials, including concrete and brick, with precision and skill. Follow blueprints, plans, or drawings to accurately lay blocks or bricks. Create layouts using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels. Mix cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, or hand tools to achieve proper consistency. Cut or break bricks and concrete using hammers, powered abrasive saws, paving breakers, drills, and hand tools. Smooth mortar and remove excess using trowels; mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools, jointers, and straightedges. Perform finishing masonry duties, including installations, mortar mixing, and parging. Erect scaffolding or staging as needed. Ensure all work is installed plumb, level, and to specification. Erect wooden or metal supports to hold repairs in place during setting time. Set story poles for accurate wall layout. Physical Requirements Excellent hand-eye coordination for carrying, positioning, and installing materials. Perform physically demanding activities, including climbing, balancing, lifting, stooping, walking, and material handling. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats, as required on site. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of general masonry experience. Must own basic masonry tools. Ability to travel to various job sites. Ability to climb scaffolds and ladders and lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Experience working on historic properties is a plus. Knowledge and skill in bricklaying and stone masonry techniques.
