Qualifications High school diploma or GED (or equivalent technical trade schooling) preferred. Minimum of 3-7 years of pipefitter or mechanical piping installation/maintenance experience in commercial/industrial settings (5+ years preferred for higher compensation). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, and fabrication plans. Skilled in fabrication, alignment, support installation, welding/brazing (as applicable), threading, grooving and joining techniques. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites. Strong safety mindset with experience in general construction or mechanical service site safety protocols. Preferred: journeyman pipefitter credential, welding certification (e.g., AWS/ASME), or experience with industrial piping systems in HVAC/process environments.
