The Data Analyst provides high-level expertise in areas of data science and decision support analysis. This position is responsible for implementing and promoting data-driven decision support systems and creating high-impact analytics solutions for our clients. Job DescriptionDescription: Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a program at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions. How Role will make an impact: Cybersecurity and Information Security (INFOSEC): Apply advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and requirements to ensure compliance and system security. Conduct system and network vulnerability analysis to identify and mitigate risks. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective risk mitigation strategies. Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes to validate system security measures. Contingency Planning: Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure operational continuity in the event of a cybersecurity incident. Firewall and Network Security: Manage and enforce firewall policies, ports, and protocols to safeguard network integrity. Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM): Oversee day-to-day VRAM activities, including entering system baseline configurations and uploading vulnerability scans of representative baseline systems. Cybersecurity Tools and Applications: Utilize and manage cybersecurity tools such as ACAS, HBSS, MDE, MDI, and Splunk to monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements as defined by Public Laws, National, DoD, and DON guidance, including but not limited to: Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) DoDD 8100.02, DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8520, DoDI 8530, DoDI 8531 SECNAV 5239 Series and OPNAV 5239 Series NIST Special Publications Series 800 Maintain expert knowledge of OPNAVINST N9210.3 for safeguarding Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. Institutional Knowledge and Expertise: Leverage expert-level knowledge and a minimum of 4 years of experience in mission-critical procedures, systems, and processes related to IT and cybersecurity requirements. DoD 8570.01M Qualification: Ensure full qualification in accordance with DoD 8570.01M standards. Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) OR Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ or better) AND Minimum of four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, including: Incident response and mitigation. Risk mitigation analysis and contingency planning. Vulnerability remediation and asset management. Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and applications (e.g., ACAS, HBSS, MDE, MDI, Splunk). Expert knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards as outlined by federal and DoD regulations. Strong understanding of firewall policies, ports, and protocols. Experience with VRAM activities and system baseline configuration management. Fully qualified under DoD 8570.01M standards. Personal Property Analyst Clearance: Secret Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Personal Property database maintenance Data entry of personal property assets, assist with archiving asset records, identify and correct discrepancies in the database. Conduct inventory management of command Personal Property assets to include processing receipts of incoming material, schedule and perform personal property inventories. Assist in policy enforcement related to personal property management program. Provide guidance and support to personal property managers and custodians, assist with personal property disposition. Ensure correct processing and forwarding of receipt, transfer, and disposition of supporting documents. Prepare documents as needed. Maintain access and complete required training to manage inventories within the command Accountability Property System Record through programs such as SWALIS, and/or DPAS. Manage Parachute parts storeroom for high use Items. Ensure ordering of parachute parts to ensure no loss in readiness. Complete task order memos for ordering parachute parts on existing contracts. Submit supply request via BIZFLOW. Research quotes for supplies as needed for day-to-day management of paraloft, in support of the Departments GPC program. Parts pickup and delivery for departmental as needed in support of the Departments ran GPC program. Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum five years of warehousing and inventory management experience in the DoD. SECRET security clearance.
