The Data Analyst, Reporting and Analytics will be working alongside the Manager, Reporting & Analytics to provide reporting and analysis of current operating results. This position will also be responsible for creating dashboards, automating processes, analyzing exceptions, gaps, and trends to provide guidance and insights into opportunities to improve company financial and store performance. Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining key operational metrics and reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities -

Provide weekly reporting & dashboards on key operational metrics
Provide gap analysis and insights to appropriate business owners
Analyze key data / metrics to identify trends and risks, develop mitigation solutions and recommendations
Present data in a format that is easy to understand and disseminate to all business levels
Provide optics and analytics on special projects for key business owners
Drive and optimize sales, gross margin, and all key expenses through business gap analysis,
Provide feedback and directional recommendations to ensure execution of business recommendations
Responsible for knowing, understanding, and reporting all required regulatory compliance as it relates to labor and scheduling
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

We are a Worldwide Resale Market Firm seeking a meticulous and analytically adept individual to fulfill the role of Entry Level Data Analyst within our organization to expand our current analytics abilities. The Entry Level Data Analyst will oversee aspects of inventory adjustments, reconciliations and analysis related to the Hawaii market. Additionally, this role will involve understanding the EDI process to assist when necessary. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Microsoft Excel, possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing/Posting Inventory adjustments: Review and post all inventory adjustments that flow from the Warehouse Management System to the ERP for accuracy.
2. Inventory review between WMS and ERP: Comparing data between the WMS and WRP systems to ensure matching inventory balances.
3. EDI Processing: Will be the main backup to the daily processing of EDI traffic.
4. Maintain civilian EDI cross references in the ERP: Responsible for the upkeep and accuracy of the item cross references in the ERP related to the Hawaii Business.
5. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights related to performance, customer segmentation, and product profitability. Present findings to management and recommend strategies for improvement.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with departments such as procurement, sales, and finance to align strategies with overall business objectives.
7. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Identify opportunities for automation and optimization to streamline operations.
8. Hawaii Special Pricing Billing - Create the monthly special pricing file for the Hawaii business, review for accuracy, and send to the accounts payable for proper billing.
9. Analyze inventory and sales adjustment accounts on a monthly basis.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or related analytical field.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in pricing analysis, data analysis, or related roles within a similar industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Advanced Excel, and Power BI (preferred).
- Ability to write basic SQL and DAX statements to analyze large datasets (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.

Designs, develops, builds classifier and implements quantitative models. The Role
This is an UNPAID internship through the Hire Vets Now (HVN) SkillBridge Program for transitioning active-duty US military personnel. HVN SkillBridge Internships are available to help transitioning active-duty military personnel gain real-world experience in the work force sometime during their final 180 days of active-duty service. Monitors existing contracts to determine compliance as directed
Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents
Interacts with suppliers and buyers
Facilitates team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of contractual processes
Generates plans, acquires materials, and schedules services for facilities activities
Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers to provide information regarding adherence to scheduled activities
Supports efforts to review, create, improve, and document processes and procedures related to facilities operations by creating basic documents
May participate in meetings with other organizations such as Document Control, Legal, Security and Fire, IT to create and validate processes
With limited supervision, collects and logs accurate data from various systems
Performs analysis using developed tools
Assists in making recommendations and implementing improvements
Conducts basic research using varied media (such as internet, reports) to support assigned tasks
Supports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needs
With supervision and in a limited role, provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processes
Ensures that configuration control is maintained for data, processes, equipment, and documents
Supports efforts to resolve business operation problems
May assist in the investigation and development of alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations
Vital member of the Program Office supporting with various tasks and responsibilities to include:
Program data and document control
Creation, management, and support of certain program deliverables for executive leadership and customer
Assist in program level communications with the team and corporate office
Develop and manage program metrics, data, and reports required for executive leadership and customer
Coordination and support of Program events, training and site visits for Boeing personnel
Attend Program level meetings and record minutes, notes and actions
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated experience providing professional, accurate and responsive customer service to internal and external customers
5+ years' experience working with MS Office suite or similar
Strong professional communication and organizational skills

Experience creating documented processes
Experience working with vendors and customers
