KEITH is seeking a SUE Field Tech II in our Pompano Beach, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual who likes to work outdoors, work with minimal supervision and who is looking for career opportunities.
Select and apply appropriate geophysical prospecting equipment to accurately designate non-complex underground utility layouts;
Perform all S.U.E. Technician II functions:
Operate vacuum trucks, related air tools and equipment such as a jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, compressor, vacuum hose, air lance and hand tools;
Perform vacuum excavation tasks and supporting overall crew activities;
Set up maintenance of traffic as directed and perform basic field measurements;
Maintains vehicles, work sites, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting operating problems on vacuum systems;
May on occasion supervise S.U.E. Tech I associates on specific daily assignments.
Qualifications
Experience in field data acquisition is required.
Survey background a plus.
High School diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of basic math.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to perform physical movements and tractions, commensurate with operating heavy tools and equipment.
Basic understanding of conductive and non-conductive utility designating and the application of related equipment.
Minimum 1+ year experience as a SUE Tech I of in the successful application of geophysical equipment in utility locating such as for a contract utility locating firm or major utility company.
Ability to work in all climates.
Basic understanding of Highway/Utility plans is a plus, but not required.
Ability to travel if needed.
OSHA Safety certifications are a plus.
DOT physical drive card and DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job FunctionsClosing and lowering vault after service. (In some instances, this task may include assisting the gravedigger in closing the grave by shoveling dirt.)
Prep concrete burial vaults as ordered
Load, transport and unload burial vaults in the company vehicle
Installing vault into the grave
Assembly and disassembly of graveside tents
Preparation for graveside service (placing folding chairs/chair covers / artificial grass)
Keep daily reports including pre-trip and post-trip logs
Maintain a maintenance schedule on the vehicle and all equipment Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, warehouse, and shop
Responsible for all work functions to be performed timely, correctly, and in a safe manner
Provide a safe, clean, respectful, and dignified burial presentation for the family and guests at the gravesite.
Communicate all service-related exceptions and issues with the plant manager immediately.
Qualifications
Valid Class driver's license with limited infractions
Knowledge of backhoe preferred but will consider someone who is willing and capable of learning to operate
Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Be self-motivated and self-monitored with little supervision needed
Maintain a clean and respectful personal appearance, wearing a clean uniform when required
Must be flexible with schedule and able to work weekends.
Must pass a background/MVR check
Detail-oriented Full body movement, use of all senses, able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs
Must be able to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel, and squat for a short period of time.

Join our mission-driven team and make a difference! The Housing Technician (Per Diem) supports the day-to-day operations of our interim housing program by monitoring and assisting participants, maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment, and helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness. This is an as-needed position with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Orient guests to facility and personal areas. Review guest assignments and responsibilities of guests. Assist guests in use of facility amenities; including but not limited to the laundry, recreational, and all applicable common areas.
Create a welcoming environment for guests.
Implement and support the principles of a trauma informed care environment.
Utilize de-escalation skills to manage guest conflict.
Manage the phone line on weekend and evening shifts only.
Review arrival/departure procedures with guest, including emergency exits and procedure.
Escort guests as needed within the facility buildings and grounds.
Monitor guests while they are in the waiting area or residence, and maintain vigilance for their safety and security.
Assist entering guests with placing items in Hot Box.
Assist with entry and maintenance of medication logs along with LPNs.
Maintain logs and make accurate and specific documentation of events occurring during shift including incident reports and notice of infractions.
Ability to support and advocate for inclusion for the LGBTQ and other vulnerable communities most at risk for homelessness
Make sure that common area is welcoming; encourage participants in maintaining chores to ensure cleanliness of shelter space for group program events/classes.
Participate in training to upgrade skills as courses become available. Complete all GGI required trainings within 6 months of hire
Perform any range of departmental assignments or special projects as requested.
OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Demonstrate by words and actions a commitment to the Goodwill mission to help people experiencing homelessness to become self-sufficient, working members of the community.
Perform or assist with any duties or operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Participate in any variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal communication skills and good written communication skills
Excellent people skills
One year experience in a residential setting and/or two years of customer service.
Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and take direction
Individuals who are formerly homeless encourage to apply
Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to deal with a wide variety of people in a positive manner.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Residential setting
Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling stooping, and bending
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. minimum
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Computer, standard peripherals and office equipment, kitchen and laundry appliances, and safety equipment.
Schedule:
Per diem; hours and shifts will vary based on program needs. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability may be required.
