    We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician with a strong aptitude for electro-mechanical troubleshooting. This role requires significant travel throughout North America, the Dominican Republic, and Canada. The ideal candidate will be committed to quality work and excellence in detail, with the initiative and drive to grow within the company. Effective communication with customers and co-workers is essential.     As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, attending customer and vendor meetings, and handling the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery. This role primarily focuses on cold, warm, and hot forging presses and related equipment used in industries such as automotive, aircraft, medical, and bridge construction. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair machines accurately and efficiently. + Make modifications to machinery as required. + Install and assemble machines effectively. + Clean parts and adjacent areas during repairs. + Follow established tool procedures and maintain lock out tag out procedures. + Perform thorough preventative maintenance and generate reports within two weeks. + Coordinate closely with Sales and Office Staff on ongoing projects. + Obtain approval for purchases from the Field Service Supervisor. + Suggest redesigns for accessory components and communicate with the Japan team as needed. + Ensure necessary parts and tools are ready prior to projects. + Check tools at customer sites to ensure all are accounted for. + Accurately reference assembly and parts drawings. + Maintain precise measurement figures for projects. + Complete projects accurately and thoroughly. + Communicate effectively with customers and follow up post-service. **Essential Skills** + Ability to travel at least 70% during the Month. + 2-3 years of experience in mechanical or electrical work. + High level of mechanical aptitude. + Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and low voltage systems. + High level of customer service and satisfaction. + Experience working in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with welding and fabrication. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). + Bronze scraping skills. + Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs, robotics, servo systems, CNC, wiring, and cranes. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health and insurance benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with minimal premiums.
