About this role:
Our SpeechLanguagePathologist is part of a team of pediatric specialists that provide family-centered services that support and enable families to meet their child's individual needs through education, training, and support. This program involves collaborating with a team of specialists who are experts in children's physical, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive development. This program works with children 0-3 years of age.
Schedule: FFS; Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Compensation: $66.61-69.30/hour
*FFS is as needed, capped at 20 hours/week, and is not benefits eligible.*
We are looking for EI Specialists who have:
Valid SpeechLanguagePathologist-CCC license.
Pediatric Experience.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
The physical requirements for Early Intervention are:
Frequent movement within the home, but not limited to: kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of children
Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment
Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment
Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs
Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting
As an EI SLP, you'll get to:
Partner with families in the Plymouth area to identify each child's strengths and developmental needs
Develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) with the family
Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services
Oversee case management and referral services to assigned caseload
Conduct home visits in the Plymouth area to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and support
Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries
Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child's care
Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress
This role allows for flexibility in creating your own schedule to visit with families in the Plymouth area!

Meeting Street is currently looking for a SpeechLanguagePathologist in Early Intervention working 40 hours weekly.
Duties:
Assess the functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 relative to their age-appropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or developmental risk factors.
Provide individual home-based and virtual services for a caseload of families with a wide range of racial backgrounds, cultures, religions, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and abilities with understanding of how their life experiences may be impacted by social determinants.
Collaborate with the family to develop goals to address the child's development that fit into their daily routines and play.
Teach and coach caregivers to integrate strategies into the family's daily routines to aid in the child meeting major developmental milestones.
Continuously assess the progress of your clients and collaboratively adjust the plan as needed.
Consult and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Nurses and Social Workers.

Requirements:

CPR and first aid certifications or be willing and able to become certified.

Position Summary
The SpeechLanguagePathologist (SLP) provides direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
ASHA certified (CCCs) OR must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in order to earn ASHA certification (CCCs) and/or meeting ASHA credentialing criteria. Once achieved, must maintain ASHA credentialing.
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

We are looking for a full time/part time Speech/LanguagePathologist (SLP) to join our Early Intervention Program serving the Lawrence area.
The SLP is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides interventions to children and families in the EI Program. The SLP screens for the risk or presence of speech, language, cognitive communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties in child's daily activities, home/community and advises on alternatives consistent with their needs and capabilities. The SLP contributes to the development of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) including strategies and family outcomes to address the child's individual needs. The SLP provides services to clients through coordination and collaboration with team members, public/private and community service providers.
Requirements
Current Massachusetts Speech/LanguagePathologist license and a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
Education commensurate with holding current licensure as a Speech/LanguagePathologist issued by the MA Board of Registration in Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under the age of 5. Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.
Must hold current, valid driver's license and the ability to provide proof of insurance coverage for travel between home visits.
Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid training.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmental milestones and delays in children, as well as the impact of emotional, behavioral, and neurological disabilities on the child's functioning and development. Must be flexible and adaptable in administering therapy.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with sufficient computer and technical skills to complete position required documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with families, team members and other professionals.
Outstanding time management, organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, empathy and compassion for children and families.

What you'll be doing at Autism Care Partners:
Ethically implement services based on knowledge and skills in speechlanguage pathology and related subject areas.
Demonstrate ability to conduct appropriate comprehensive evaluation and treatment for individuals who may be experiencing a variety of communication disorders.
Use appropriate and dynamic service delivery methods consistent with the wide variety of individual needs, including use of evidence-based treatments such as the Visual Immersion System.
Create individually tailored Plans of Care (POC) that reflect an understanding of each client's age and skill level.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to report progress and challenges as well as provide opportunities for them to be involved, promoting the carryover of services.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with all staff and team members, both within and external to ACP, to consistently serve the needs of the clients.
Complete necessary documentation and billing that reflect patient care accurately. This includes the conversion/verification of daily SOAP notes (within 24-hours of sessions), update Plans of Care (POC) at least every 6 months, and completion of annual evaluations or as needed by specific insurance requirements.
Document duties performed (billable and non-billable) within the approved number of hours worked on EMR system before pay period ends.
Maintain agreed upon number of treatment sessions per week as communicated by your supervisor.
Make every effort to attend scheduled team meetings including monthly SLP team meeting and scheduled check-in meetings with Regional Lead SpeechLanguagePathologist.
Perform other duties, responsibilities, and projects at any program or location as assigned by Regional Lead SpeechLanguagePathologist or other member of leadership at Autism Care Partners.
