TITLE: Behavioral Health Technician - Women's Recovery House **2nd SHIFT** CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt GENERAL SUMMARY: Behavioral Health Techs are responsible for monitoring Serenity Spring residents as well as safe transportation of residents. This duty includes knowing where the residents are, insuring they are acting safely and following rules/guidelines. BHT are also responsible for completion of documentation of the BHT Log, Service Activity Log, transportation/ vehicle log, Incident Reports, Urinalysis Drug Screens and other basic documentation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND/OR WORKING CONDITIONS: BHT's are expected to be alert and attentive throughout the shift. She is expected to work nights and weekends and holidays, based on shift availability and preference. BHT must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. BHT is exposed to high stress situations and must interact well with staff and residents. Responsible to help monitor residents for potential warning signs concerning recurrence of symptoms and refer them for more support. Responsible to check-in with residents on a daily basis.
