In this role, you will collect, verify, and reconcile mileage and fuel purchase data to ensure accurate reporting. You will play a key part in supporting transportation compliance by preparing and submitting tax reports to federal and state authorities. Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
Audit timecards, process garnishments, child support payments, etc.
Prepare, review, and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll questions and issue resolution.
Maintain and update employee pay changes, deductions, and tax information in the HRIS.

Assist with the implementation of new companies / transition to WFN.
Benefits & HR Support
Manage benefit invoices, including reconciliation, accuracy checks, and coordination with vendors.
Serve as a back-up for other HR functions as needed (e.g., onboarding support, employee file maintenance, open enrollment, general HR administration).
Manage FMLA, short-term disability, workers' compensation claims, including reporting, tracking, and communication with third-party administrators or carriers.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and labor regulations.
Training & Development
Assign, track, and monitor required training for new hires and existing employees.
Partner with department leaders to ensure timely completion of training requirements.
Compliance, Safety & Engagement
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Participate in the Safety Committee and Engagement Committee.

Responsibilities:
Monitor federal, state, and local payroll, labor, and tax regulations to ensure Push and its clients remain compliant.
Research regulatory changes and communicate updates to internal teams and clients.
Support compliance audits, internal reviews, and external examinations.
Maintain documentation for compliance processes, tax registrations, and state filings.
Work closely with the Payroll, Product, CX, and Implementation teams to ensure customer setups and processes meet compliance requirements.
Manage tax account registrations, state unemployment insurance (SUI) setup, and required filing updates.
Review client payroll data for compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Assist with resolving federal and state tax notices.
Contribute to the development of internal policies, controls, and process improvements.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in payroll compliance, regulatory research, HR compliance, or related fields.
Strong understanding of US labor laws, tax regulations, and multi-state compliance requirements.
Excellent research, analytical, and documentation skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
Experience working with payroll or HRIS platforms.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across teams.
Bonus Skills and Qualifications
Experience handling multi-state tax registrations or payroll tax compliance.
Prior work in SaaS, payroll, or HR technology environments.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, privacy laws).

Preferred Skills:
