**Location**

This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs. As a Safety Intern, you will be assigned to one of our many project or office sites for the duration of your internship.
**Responsibilities**
As a Safety Intern, you'll be part of a team implementing and overseeing the Project Safety Program including the development of site safety policies and procedures. You'll assist in monitoring the various construction projects activities, ensuring the compliance with pertinent government regulations, state or provincial, client, and company policies and procedures. You'll assist in establishing and monitoring safe working conditions for our most valuable assets - our people. You'll provide corrective action recommendations and assist in implementing metrics for tracking and reporting on performance issues when needed. Safety Interns will review project work plans for accuracy in conformance with all standards and assist in safety program audits, coaching and regular onsite training. You must have the ability to carry out duties in varying work environments including wide-ranging weather conditions and terrain with the ability to travel and/or relocate as required for projects.
**Qualifications**
- Must be pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study
- Knowledge of construction safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements
- Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to work with all levels in the organization from craft to leadership
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment

The Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Designer will have or develop a solid understanding of client business practices and goals to:

Minimum Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of design experience with ICT infrastructure

+ Arranging cable tray, conduit, and telecom related devices within BIM model.
+ Coordinating with other disciplines for clearances and clash detection.

+ Performing drawing, planning, development and production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
+ Performing the evaluation of designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects for quality assurance.
+ Approving design codes and specifications related to design requirements.

Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, working closely with architects, planners, and engineers.
Develop conceptual drawings for site development, ecological restoration, and transportation corridor projects across various scales.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry Level Architectural Designer.
This position is located in the Cleveland, Ohio office, which is a dynamic studio focusing on a large variety of project types, including higher education, cities, corporate commercial, logistical and federal projects. We are seeking a Designer with good technical, conceptual, visual, and communication skills to work in a highly collaborative and design-oriented studio.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments
* Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes, type and complexity
* Produce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clients
* Developing iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staff
* Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations
* Coordinates design activities with other engineering disciplines
* Participate in design through all phases, from concept to construction administration.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
* BA/BS in Architecture + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's in architecture
* Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
* Working knowledge of 3D modeling; Revit, Sketchup, and/or Rhino desired
* Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
* Desire to actively work toward architectural licensure
* LEED Accreditation
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description
Our award-winning urban design, landscape architecture, and planning practice is seeking Urban Designer or Landscape Architecture Design Leader who has a passion for working on complex civic-focused projects. This role is to be based in Cleveland or Columbus, OH.
A key quality of a candidate will be their ability to bring design leadership and foster a culture of design to an established design practice and a diverse set of internal and external collaborators. The successful candidate will work on local projects as we as well as projects in other locales across the country. Regardless of project location, the successful candidate must be a strategic thinker, drive a design process, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a willingness and excitement to collaborate with partners across AECOM's multi-disciplinary platform.
The successful candidate will understand the value of leveraging the design platform that AECOM offers, which is access and collaboration with industry leading designers and technical experts in nearly every design and engineering field. The current and near-term projects that this position would support will be transformational to the communities in which they exist.
Internally, this position will provide the opportunity to serve as an integral part of a planning and design practice that includes planners, landscape architects, architects, interior designers, engineers, and business development professionals. The position will require the ability to present and clearly articulate design visions, concepts, internally and externally, as a function of facilitating the overall design process for complex multi-layered design problems and solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in of Landscape Architecture or Urban Design + 6 years of relevant professional design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Professional landscape architecture license within the US
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design
* Licensed Landscape Architect in Ohio (within 6 months of hire)
* Ten plus years of relevant professional design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Proficiency in Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, and at least one of the following 3D modeling and rendering platforms (revit, rhino, sketchup)
* Support the further development of a design studio culture
* Collaborator & Integrator
* Minimum of 5 years of applicable design leadership experience.
* Project leadership experience
* Professional licensure within the state of Ohio
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Proficiency in creating hand sketches for the purpose of facilitating design workshops and quickly communicating design ideas.
* Familiarity with and past participation with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
* Excellent internal and external communication of design vision
* Excellent written communication, quantitative analysis, graphic design, urban design, presenting, and critical thinking skills.
* Non-mandatory participation in civic-minded organizations
* Evidence of third-party recognition of your work or projects you have played a significant role in, e.g., ASLA, AIA, design awards and/or publications and presentations with a focus on design
