We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in our Youngsville, NC location! ***This shift will be a Weekend shift of Friday, Saturday & Sundays from 5:00am - 5:00pm. The Weekend Shift Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring all materials and finished products meet quality standards, including inspecting tops, backsplashes, and sinks for defects and adherence to specifications. The role also involves staging materials for installations, ensuring all pieces are properly loaded and secured, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position requires attention to detail, effective communication with the production team, and strict adherence to safety protocols. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Control (QC) Ensure QC processes are followed during the receiving of material. Verify all finished tops are measured and checked against shop drawings for accuracy. Confirm all finished tops are cleaned and prepared for installation. Inspect tops for quality, defects, and adherence to drawing specifications Document any defects, inconsistencies, or discrepancies found during QC checks and communicate them to the relevant teams prior to . Sign off on finished pieces once they pass inspection and are ready for staging or delivery. Work closely with the production team to ensure any quality issues during fabrication are addressed promptly and effectively. Ensure all pieces (tops, backsplashes, sinks, etc.) for each job are accounted for. Staging Conduct a final quality check on all pieces before they are staged to ensure they are free of defects, scratches, or any other issues that could affect installation. Ensure all pieces for the following day's installations are staged by the end of each workday. Account for all pieces to ensure nothing is missing or misplaced. Properly load and secure pieces on A-Frames for transport. Safety Adhere to and maintain all safety guidelines within the production area. Respond promptly and effectively to any safety-related concerns or incidents. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment. REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age 1 -3 years of industry experience preferred but not necessary, training will be provided.
