The teams in the Data Platform area work with large scale distributed systems and databases to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data-driven insights. As an engineering manager in this area, you will be responsible for leading a team to design, build, and maintain systems that support other engineering teams and departments across Klaviyo. Who You Are BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years of software engineering in a DevOps environment with specific experience in data processing systems. 3+ years of people management experience Experience writing code using best practices in a language such as Python, Java, Go, etc. Experience designing, building, and operating reliable, fault-tolerant, and high performance distributed systems Proven ability to come up to speed quickly You've already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you're excited to dive in and learn fast.
